The service was awesome! The staff were super welcoming and friendly. Although the cafe was pretty small, it felt very cozy and the ambience was very perfect and homey. The katsu was crispy in the outside and everything was pretty affordable for the price. The drinks were also sooo good! I got the crème brûlée milk tea and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. I would recommend coming here for delicious affordable curry!

Food was soooo fresh and hot. It takes a little bit to prepare so be patient but it's pretty worth it. The veggies are not soggy and very crisp and fresh. Nothing is over cooked or undercooked.
Drinks were really solid. Only had the fruit teas but they weren't overly sweet even at regular sweetness. Fresh fruit inside the tea makes it quite yummy.
The service is pretty standard. Order at kiosk and they make the food/bring to you.
Ambience is amazing. Makes you feel like you're in one of those cute cafes in Japan. Food matches the ambience too!
Highly recommend trying this little gem if you're into Japanese comfort food.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Em N.El Monte, CA234917Apr 18, 2024
Honestly shocked this place has such high ratings. Service is unwelcoming and drinks take way too long.
Maybe guests like the food which I've never tried. I've only come twice for drinks.
First time, I came when there were only 2 other people in the store who already received their foods. Employee saw me walk in but said no welcomes... nothing. I placed an order for 2 drinks. It took over 30 minutes for 2 drinks! I saw the barista place my drinks on the counter and walked away. They didn't call out that my order was ready nor did I receive a text for it. Had to walk to the counter to ask if it was mine. Awkward...
2nd time, I was in the plaza to grab some poke. I decided to give 37.2° another chance. Remembering that they take a while to make your drinks, I placed an order on the kiosk, then walked to the poke place, placed and received my poke order, then walked back and asked if my drink was ready. The guy didn't even start making my drink yet until I asked when I returned!!! What were you doing in those 20 minutes while I was gone?!!! The kiosk had the audacity to default to 15% tip. If you don't pay attention, you'll be paying an extra 15% for basically mediocre service. They never greet you nor say bye or thank you when you leave. Always feels like I'm imposing on their time when I walk in.
Worst of all, I ordered less ice and got a cup half full of ice and THICK lemon slices. Slices are garnish. Why give me so much? Costed over $7 for this drink. Nearly 30 minutes for one lemon tea drink and they couldn't even make it correctly. Last time coming here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Alexis R.Los Angeles, CA4815Apr 13, 2024
Yoooo this place reminds me of the days I used to play "restaurant" as a kid! I believe it's family owned and I could tell they really put care into their restaurant, it has a lot of personality. Sooo quaint and awesome! I felt like a little kid ordering off the kiosk and then waiting for my food and cute drink while the modern jazz music played softly in the background. I didn't even care that the food took longer than most places but the curry we ordered is made in house and with love. I waited patiently and happily. Not a problem there.
What we ordered:
- crispy fried tofu. I think it could have been seasoned a bit more, but that's just me. I like salt lol
- chicken cutlet curry (level 3 spice)
- curry fried fish filet (level 2 spice). The spice was still mild but you have the option to add more on the side. We liked the fish better.
- tropical tea 75% sweet. Still too sweet, I would do 50% next time.
Presentation is super cute! Their drink lids and napkins were top notch. That's how I know they care. Lulz. Overall, food was decent but I was just happy to be there!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 28, 2024
Super cute cafe! Located in a big plaza so it's easy to find parking on a Thursday evening. There was a guest at the counter ordering and we saw the self order kiosk and used that. We sat down and our drinks came pretty quick, strawberry bubble milk, and brûlée milk tea. Our food took a little longer but everything was so good! We ordered the fried fish curry, pork cutlet curry, vegetable croquette. Everything was hot and crispy and tasted delicious. We also tried their strawberry cream croffle which was pretty good too!
Will be returning!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 4, 2024
Located in a small shopping center, you will find plenty of parking. It's a small restaurant with about 7 tables I think. You can self order or order at the counter. I was pleasantly surprised but the deliciousness of my meal the pork cutlet was moist and tender. The curry was so flavorful I ordered medium spicy, and it was perfect. The salad had a ginger sauce that was delicious. I look forward to coming back. I don't know why I didn't visit this place sooner!!!!!

Parking: Plenty of parking since it's located in a plaza with plenty of shops. Aside from this place and the supermarket, the plaza seemed a little empty at night.
Food: We ordered their chicken cutlet curry and pork cutlet curry. The food did take a while to come out but I believe there's not too many people cooking. I didn't mind the wait as the food was delicious. The crunch to the chicken and pork cutlet was amazing and their portions were good. I love that they put the curry to the side, that way the cutlets are soggy.
Service: It was a little slow because there were a lot of people but the people were super nice.
Ambiance: It's a chill ambiance inside, not too loud or anything. There's not too many tables in there and it wouldn't be great for any parties over 4 people.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 16, 2024
Drinks and snack are solid. We got iced americano and berry tea, they're good. We also got the chocolate croffle, theirs is very good. The cream is what makes it so good.
You can order using the monitor inside. In fact, they prefer that even though they weren't really doing anything.
They have outdoor seats, so I could bring my dog. It's in the back next to another restaurant, not right next to theirs, which was weird.
They are located in the same plaza as SF supermarket.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jan 23, 2024
Parking:
There are plenty in this lot. There aren't too many busy stores so you don't have a hard time finding parking. Getting into the lot might be a little difficult
Service; it was really slow depending on the time of the day that you order but the people were super nice and did their best to juggle orders
Outside; a small restaurant next to a few others on a small block. The entryway is pretty small
Inside: the interior feels cozy and have a few couch seats and the rest are regular hard seats. It's a small space so it won't be great for any parties over 4
Food gotten:
Galaxy mojito and fried fish filet curry
The food was pretty good. The curry came separately so you can adjust how much you want in your rice. The curry itself was pretty standard . The drink was pretty delicious and not overly sweet
I want to note that I came a second time after this but the wait time for that time was 40 mins for two meals. this was during lunchtime with about a half full space (with maybe only a few orders ahead of me) so I knew there was a wait but that was a pretty long wait. There are three people as far as I can tell. So don't come if you need a fast meal for lunch
Hope this helps :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Karen N.Montebello, CA200597223Mar 2, 20241 check-in
This place is quite small, I think there were only 5-6 tables inside. We ordered on the kiosk and got a crème brulee milk tea, banana croffle, fried pork curry, and a japanese omelette sandwich. It came to be around $40 after 10% off for joining their membership program.
The staff members are friendly and the food was quite good! The drink we got had good tea flavor, but we didn't get much of the crème brûlée since it was swirled around the cup instead of the usual chunks I'm used to at other places. It was really sweet tho, so next time I'd adjust the sweetness level. The curry and pork were delicious and the sandwich was pretty good too! It was made with some sort of sesame dressing. The croffle was yummy; the texture was perfect, but it was a bit on the bland side.
Overall, glad I gave this spot a try!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
