A Better Plumbing

Monte has done work at my home numerous times for a new water heater, new toilets, and most recently a water filtration system and water softener. My experience has been Monte can do anything plumbing related, in a professional manner, and for a fair price. Last time he was here and had completed the job, I asked him to look at the kitchen sink that had backed up literally the day before his appointment. I had no luck plunging the sink myself, and figured he could do it quickly and easily. Turns out the problem was more involved than I thought, and Monte had to come back the following day(Saturday) with more equipment to finish the task. Two morals to this story- 1)be careful and respectful about showing him surprise problems, and (2)Monte is competent, trustworthy, fair, and honest.

I have used A Better Plumbing 2x over the last couple years , our first project was cleaning drain system second project advising us on sink and vanity installation , Monthy always goes above and beyond for his customers , if you want professionals to take care of your pluming don't look any further !

Had them install a whole house filtration system with salt less softener and uv sterilizer. Couldn't be happier with the out come. The copper manifold he built came out amazing. Such clean work. Really professional and friendly. Will be using them for all of our future plumbing needs with out question.

I gave them explicit pictures and explanations by text of my warranty water heater replacement situation, and the have me an estimate by text.

I wouldn't go with anyone that needed to try to send a plumber out to oversell me or waste my time, and A Better Plumbing Co. didn't. Really appreciated that.

They were very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. They came, did the job, and kept to the estimate. No surprises. I'd trust them with any plumbing job! Kudos!

I just had them out for 2 jobs, first the big one putting in a 75 gallon hot water heater in place of the 1994 50 gallon and the second one to replace a couple leaky valves under the kitchen sink.

First, the hotwater heater-
Jerry showed up on time and removed the old one (Big task considering that thing was FILLED with sediment. Once it was removed Monty brought the new one (Rheem brand = quality :) ) they redid all the pipes leading upto the hotwater heater and made everything run the same way and replaced the valves with ball joints. It really looks nice. They cleaned everything when they were done, even swept the room!!! After they finished that they even took a look at some other things around the place for us and gave advice.

fast forward a couple days, i take the appliances in the kitchen out. (because i want to redo the floor) turn out.... one of the valves under the sink wont turn off.... i turn off the water to the house (thinking its off and still going) we call monte- he walks us through on the phone what to do. although unfort i still couldnt get the old valve off so he came out AT NIGHT and replaced them for us :)

Couple side notes worth mentioning,
they use quality parts/brands
they do the job correctly, even if it means more work/time
there prices they tell you on the phone are actually the prices they charge you

They will definitely be my go to for all our plumbing needs! :)

When I first bought my house (former foreclosure), I had major leak issues everywhere. A Better Plumbing Co came out and fixed everything...So when I wanted more work done, naturally I contacted them.

Using their website, the first email had no response. The second email got a response, A two line response, that said their free estimate costs $75 and I can email pictures. Really? I gave a pretty specific list of things that needed doing. This wasn't a "Help, I have a leak!" or "My water heater broke"...Although the people who have those issues seem to love them (as I did).

Maybe they don't want other types of jobs. I don't know. But they went from a 5 star to a 2 star in my book. Sad, it's so hard to find a good plumber.

Used this company several times. Very competent, very nice and easy to get along with, and most of all very HONEST! It's a family owned business, and the whole family participates in the business. I would recommend this plumber to anyone. Richard R.

I have relied on Monte and A Better Plumbing several times. Good pricing and prompt service. Did some great work this summer on a leaking shower that entailed a lot of work. Will use again!

Very thankful that Monte and Carla were able to help me out with a pipe problem since I was in NJ and had to deal with my hysteric daughter in Las Vegas! Thanks much!

I have lived in Vegas for 23 years and dealt with many companies over the years for various home repairs and upgrades. Take it from me people, I know good, honest businesses when I see them. I have used A Better Plumbing Company twice now in 2 years for the following problems:

A leak in my upstairs bathroom tub
A rusted out hose spigot
A kitchen faucet replacement
And a shower handle that I stupidly installed like an idiot

The first time Monte came out to the house and worked like a detective solving a
plumbing homicide. He showed me everything he was doing and I was involved in the process from start to finish. It turned out that the bath tub was leaking into the ceiling because the ring on the seal was falling apart.

On the second visit Mike showed up and worked his magic like some kind of pipe wizard and knocked out the 3 remaining problems from that list in the time it took me to run to Home Depot.
Why did I go to the D? To return an expensive faucet kit I bought that Mike said I totally didn't need. He fixed an extremely annoying problem in like 2 minutes with a screw. Amazing people! Amazing!

By the time I got back, the spigot outside was all replaced and the crazy kitchen faucet problem I had was no more and the shiny new one I bought was already completely installed.

Look, I can't say enough good stuff about my experiences with this company. From the time you contact them and talk with the extremely polite and helpful manager, until long after the job is done, you will be very happy you went with them and not the other guys!
