      Abawn had my review deleted! Speed is the ONLY concern. The tools and methods used to molest my jeep caused damage. Abawn AND Strata West are liable for the gouges to my fender flares, paint AND roof panel. Abawn agressively defends their image, how can YOU improve YOUR company? Take TIME to; Propperly write the info. Like a correct lisence plate?WALK AROUND the car BEFORE any action to assess hazards such as; CONCRETE PILLARS, CARS BESIDE, Maybe practise on an older vehicle where errors will not be noticed. Abawn AND Strata West are liable for this. Do NOT call this company. Strata West called you... They SHOULD have sent you these details.

      A W F U L ! HORRIBLE! WORST COMPANY EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.

      If I could give this company a negative 10, I would. I hate being so negative but I have nothing positive I could say about this company. I had put off writing this review for a long time as it honestly left me with horrible anxiety and I didn't want to even bring this horrible experience up again.

      I decided to write this to hopefully prevent others to choosing this towing company.


      A couple years ago, I was in my car at my gym getting ready to leave. It was late at night, raining super hard and dark outside. I accidentally put my car on drive instead of reverse and ended up rolling over the chock block at the front of my parking spot. Stupid and dumb, I know! I was beyond embarrassed and stressed out. There was no way I could get my car out and I needed to call a towing company to help me out. I quickly got on Google and Yelp to see who had the best reviews (I seriously can't do anything without reading reviews, even in horrible situations). I've never had to call a towing company therefore I wasn't aware of local companies.

      I came across this company after reading a couple reviews and I called them up and explained the situation. They said they could get someone within 15 minutes. Before hanging up, I heard them laughing in the background of my situation. (Yes it's super stupid of what I did but laughing at a customer is not good customer service).

      Fast forward 30 minutes later and no help was here. I called them back and they said another 20 minutes..

      Finally 1 hour later, someone came. I explained the situation again and the person who came chuckled. Again, I understand it was a dumb situation however it wasn't helping the situation at the moment. He observed the situation and told me what he would do. He said that he would chain my car and pull my car backwards over the chock block. He instructed me to get into my car, turn it on, put it on neutral but do NOT touch the brakes at ALL and that he would do the rest.

      Again, I have never had experience with a towing company or the process of towing therefore I asked him to clarify the instructions couple times so I was comfortable.

      After getting it all ready, I got into my car, put it on neutral and stayed put. After my front wheels went back over the chock block into the parking spot, I had a loud crash.

      The driver immediately got out and YELLED at me to slam on my brake. I quickly put my car on park and got out of my car to see a huge bump on the bumper, my bumper starting to fall off and a broken light. I was beyond shocked.

      The driver then started to scream bloody murder at me and calling me an idiot! I was so overwhelmed and explained that I was following his instructions as he was the professional and told him that I even asked him to go over the instructions with me a couple times prior to doing everything because I've never been towed before. He would not listen to a single thing I was saying and kept screaming at me and calling me idiot and stupid. He was even saying awful comments under his breath.

      He called his manager and the manger came within 5 minutes. The manger looked at the situation and asked me to come into his truck with him to go over the situation. He told me that HIS DRIVER WAS AT 100% FAULT and helped deescalate the situation. He let me that he would call ICBC in the morning and let them know that it was 100% his drivers fault. He then gave me the bill to pay for my towing service.. It was over $100. I decided to pay for it as I appreciated him the manger coming so quickly and letting me know that he would claim 100% fault.

      Couple hours later after I got home, I called ICBC to report the incident. They let me know that the other party (this company) has already called and claimed a report and that our stories did not match up at all. I was BEYOND shocked. I explained the situation and made my own claim.

      I don't want to get into more details but long story short, ICBC took their side over mine and it cost my insurance to go up, had to pay for the deductible and gain physical and mental damage.


      I really hope that people read this review and never decide to go with this company. It was truly the worst customer service experience I have e v e r experienced in my entire life.

      Most people have a negative connotation towards towing companies. However, when you're the victim of people constantly parking in your reserved parking spot at your place of residence, you will realize how lucky you are that towing companies exist. Abawn was extremely quick to react to such an incident in the past after the concierge had notified them.

      Horrific. I called the towing company to see if my vehicle had been towed there. The man on the phone offered to pick me up and take me to his car lot. He showed up 15 mins after the call. Once I got into his van, he started verbally harassing me and made me feel very uncomfortable. He was driving a white van. Please do not use this company, especially if you are a woman. I have called the police and there is a police file on record. Please do not hesitate to call the police if you have a similar experience.
