About face is the place to go if you are a Transgender woman and looking to get rid of the awful hair the wrong puberty gave you.

Ramona is absolutely the best technician there and she did an amazing job. The machinery is state of art and the least painful I've experienced.

I have been a client of About Face for many years. When I first started going to Vickie, I told her I am hairy like a monkey, she would be very kind and just say furry. After 5-6 treatments of various areas...I am hair free now for over 7 years. I wish I would have done this sooner and saved myself a lot of embarrassment of my hairy self! :) Vickie is very professional as well as all of her staff. I am very comfortable while there. My hormones kinda went crazy and I did go back for a retouch...very satisfied with the results.

The staff at about face is amazing! I went in today for my four week laser treatment and Judy was super sweet as always! Danita has now been doing my treatment and I am seeing results faster! Thank you ladies so much!

I purchased a Groupon for a laser procedure on the face and neck. When I called to schedule the appointment, I was told to first come for a consultation, then the procedure would be scheduled. Scheduling the consultation was difficult, in part because I travel fairly frequently and in part because the ONE person who does the consultations is only in on certain days of the week from 9-4 - not at all convenient for working people.

(BTW, I can't imagine why a business would issue a Groupon then limit their ability to bring clients in the door by having such narrow bandwidth.)

Anyway, the consultation was perfunctory at best and at that point the merchant didn't have any appointments for the procedure that worked with my schedule. Furthermore, there were no appointments available at all for the following month so I walked away without scheduling the procedure.

After waiting a few weeks to hear back on a date that I could come in for the procedure, the merchant called to tell me that they had ONE DAY during that month that the procedure could be done. I had my pick of times, but only on that one day which as it happens doesn't work for me.

Again, hard to understand why you'd try to drum up business then limit availability of delivering service. SMH.

Every thing about this place is negative , how they lie about prices , sales and horrible with appointments . when you go there for the time that you were scheduled , they take their time to joke around, to eat and having people waiting , they rip you off and absolutely no service in return.

Awesome service, Vicky is super cool and is very knowledgeable with her stuff. They are really good working with your time! I would recommend this place to anyone!

I bought the package of 6 treatments from Groupon it seemed like a good deal but you get what you pay for

I had 5 of the 6 treatment underarm with Vickie ( who I will discover later that she's the owner so bear with me )
she just does like maybe 3 strokes with the laser and be done in less than 2 minutes , that been said she doesn't get all the hair so I see poor to no results ( I did Laser treatments in a different place before & I know that they move the probe on every single spot to hit all the hairs)

on my last appointment she wasn't there so her student technician Kathy did the session & oh boy she did a marvelous thorough job getting every single hair in there that's when I thanked her about her precision she told me she's told so a lot & as a compensation for not seeing results with Vicky she offered me a free treatment

when I went to the free treatment I found out that Kathy is fired & Vicky basically YELLED that she knows what she's doing,Saying STOP I know what I'm doing & that Kathy is just doing the session slowly (REALLY) !!

of course she wouldn't honor the free treatment & offered to dispute my case to the doctor in another appointment only to discover from the receptionist that she is the Owner & the doctor basically work for her

I was going there with the intention of paying a gratitude to Kathy & buying another package if only she would be my technician for all treatments ( so money is not my issue , quality & courteousness is

But after dealing with this unprofessional owner with bad customer service & bad attitude Plus doing poor job she lost me as a customer also I would never recommend her business

I scheduled an appointment online after booking a groupon. Then I was called to be told I must consult first then I can actually schedule a laser hair removal session. (I have had laser removal before, where they do the consultation and immediately treat after). She then told me that I have to see the doctor first. He is in TWO DAYS TOTAL for the month of January. 9am-4pm. TWO DAYS. both Thursday's. I am off work Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, giving me 2 week days to schedule AT ANY TIME. I told them this is ridiculous and it's the doctors job to be here. I am canceling my groupon. I should've read the previous persons review.

I purchased a Groupon in April. I have had 2 laser treatments and 4 electrolysis treatments. I am so happy with the results! I have had previous electrolysis treatments, several months worth, at 2 other businesses and the problem seemed to get worse. I was not educated on skin care or dos and donts to aid in the treatments. I have not had to wait when I schedule an appointment . The procedures have been quick, 10-20 minutes, and painless. All my questions are answered and explained thoroughly. I can't thank them enough! I am no longer embarrassed with facial hair!
