Academy Foot and Orthotic Clinic

Had a great experience here. The staff were super courteous and kind. I'd come in with what I thought was an ingrown toenail; and learned from my terrific chiropodist, Diane V., that it was actually a bit of a splinter of nail stuck into the surrounding area. Actually the whole visit was a learning experience, as she noted a number of other little things about my feet, and how they related to some larger issues with my shoes. Having since changed to a different shoe, I'm amazed by the difference! I would 100% come back if I had another problem.

One limitation to the clinic is that the floor plan in the upstairs, where my treatment room was, is a bit cramped. If I had mobility issues, I would find this a challenge; that said, there might well be more treatment rooms downstairs.

Last but not least, the foot file in the gift bag I left with was so much better than anything I've bought from Shoppers :-)

Matthew Shestalo the Chiropodist was simply incredible. I had a minor operation performed on my big toe to eliminate some fungus. He froze the toe numerous times and eliminated the root cause which was an ingrown nail.

His professionalism at resolving the problem was incredible. He walked me through each step that he was doing and ensured that I felt no pain. I felt very comfortable during the whole procedure.

The front office staff are also very professional as well as the intake assistant who took all the necessary measurements.

This is a first class clinic! From the moment you walk in, you will be greeted with nice warm coffee and fresh fruits from the receptionist, who will then bring you to the chiropodist.

My wife and I have been seeing Natheetharan for more than 3 years now and have nothing bad to say about him. He takes the time to assess your feet and understand your lifestyle. After discussion, he prescribed me orthotics and compression socks that were suitable for my workout, office commute and travelling (which have been very useful for longer haul flights).

The orthotics at Danforth Foot Clinic is pricier that other places (starting price is around $500), which is my only complaint about this place. Unless you have a pretty comprehensive/ generous insurance plan, it might not be able to cover 100% of the cost.

a great and very efficient team - the staff is super friendly and welcoming, there is a cozy waiting area (snacks and drinks available - I was offered a cup of coffee and a muffin). I've been getting my orthotics there for quite a few years now I can definitely recommend this place. Doctor Nicole is a wonderful professional and the assistants are super helpful. plus a convenient location steps from Broadview station makes getting there easy. I love that you can pick up different colours for your orthotics!

This place is wonderful! I had an infected ingrown toenail and my doctor advised me to see a chiropodist as soon as possible. Called the clinic and the receptionist was very helpful and able to secure me a last minute appointment.

I was pretty scared about getting part of my toenail cut out and I brought my friend and boyfriend along with me to the appointment. They were very accommodating and put us all in a big room together.

The chriropodist I saw, Allie, was great. I learned a lot about my feet and she explained everything with a lot of clarity. She was very gentle and patient with me during the actual procedure, and it was a lot less scary than I was expecting.

It was a great experience and I will definitely come back for any other foot issues!

Conveniently located just steps from Broadview station, Academy Foot Clinic provides outstanding care and anticipates the needs of their patients to ensure a stress-free experience. The reception staff and cheerful clinic manager are warm and hospitable as they greet patients to provide comfort and seamlessly manage the administrative aspects of care. In particular, my chiropodist, Dr. Ali McFadyen, is exceptional. Over the past three years, Ali has proven to be genuinely kind, knowledgable, and precise in her work. She has effortlessly treated a breadth of podiatric issues that have significantly improved my overall foot health, comfort, and mobility. I am sincerely appreciative of the unprecedented level of care provided by Dr. McFadyen and her team.

I had read the many positive reviews of this clinic and although it was not in my neighbourhood I decided that my GP's recommendation for orthotics required a reputable company. I was treated with care, concern and without over-long wait-time for my first appointment. Although expensive, the orthotics have improved my balance and gait. I owe two individuals a special thanks --one of whom--multi-tasking Anna, really is responsible for my perseverance. She is an amazing member of a very goal-oriented team whose mandate is simple: manage pain and obstacles to foot health (an area ignored by most GPs until it is too late).
If you "commit to the program" you will get results. Thanks Academy!

Acadey Foot & Orthotic is managed by friendly & professional staff. Everyone explains the services, treatments, accessories and you can ask as many questions as necessary. The clinic is not spacious but its clean and well kept. I did several treatment for my plantar fasciitis and received my orthotic insert in a timely manner. I'm now considering getting a second set of orthotics so I don't always have to move them from shoe to boot...

All in all, I'm very satisfied with the service I received from Academy Foot & Orthotic.

This clinic is topnotch. Everyone on the staff is very helpful, including the front desk and assistants. Nicole Tam is an exceptional chiropodist who has been a godsend for my feet. Easy to make an appointment, very friendly receptionists and doctors. I had an ingrown toenail that had become quite painful. After a thorough assessment, the doctor took care of it painlessly! It felt better immediately. Thank you!
