Access Lock & Key

Came and got the job done in less than 30 minutes!! Did cost well over $100 which seemed like a bit much but I do not know the market for locksmiths!

Had a deadbolt lock and new door knob installed on a door making our home safer and more secure. I was impressed by the professionalism, the quality of the work and the value. Significantly more value than some of the bigger area locksmiths. I highly recommend Access Lock and Key for anyone looking for a knowledgeable ,professional, and cost effective locksmith.

One star for my personal experience, one more out of deference for not trashing an independent business I did not actually have business with. Despite advertising emergency service, and calling well within posted "business hours", after more than 24 hours I still have not had any response. This was the case for all three local locksmiths I called on a Saturday. Access' website invites you to text for service, but you would only get replies w/in 24 hours, so clearly it's no help for emergencies and you will need to call.

My mom had a doorknob fail on a kitchen door between her back door and the main part of the house. This locked her out entirely. She is injured and preparing for surgery Monday, so it was particularly concerning to have her stuck outside indefinitely. Ultimately, a friend was able to come by to remove the trim and get it open with a credit card for her.

I moved to the state of Oregon 20 years ago, so my number is no longer a local area code. Despite calling for (and clearly noting) I needed help for a home in Toledo, perhaps this played a role? Or they could not come anytime soon and couldn't be bothered to just call to say as much? No idea. All I know is they not only did not have a prompt response, but I got no response whatsoever. Certainly can't get behind that. Hope you do better than we did if you're ever in a bind.

He was very quick getting to our house. He got the door unlocked; it took a bit but he got it!! Fair price also. Would definitely recommend Access Key & Lock. The other nice thing was he's open 24 hrs. The other places I called all closed at 4:30.

We had a crisis situation. My daughter rented a uhaul to move herself and her 2 young daughters from Kansas to Toledo, and somehow the uhaul key was lost!?!? I googled what to do when a uhaul key is lost and found out we needed to call a locksmith. I googled "24 hr locksmith that can make a new car key" and found this company. I called Access Lock &Key. The owner answered the phone on the 2nd ring and met my daughter at the uhaul in less than 30 minutes. The owner was able to make the new key at a very affordable price and also worked with me on taking my credit card info over the phone. Great service. Called them today to see about getting a key made for my Dodge Charger. They came out to my house and made a key in no time. Fast, friendly and a good price. Would definitely do business with them again!
