ACE Dental of Hewitt

This place has been extremely frustrating! After multiple visits within 3 weeks we had problems each time. When I addressed the problems to staff and to the doctor they lied to cover up their lack of communication and lack of professionalism. Don't waist your time with this place!

Lied about accepting my insurance. Morning of appointment, I called to verify my appointment time and they claim they tried to contact me to say they couldn't verify my insurance. My phone records show no calls from them and when I questioned it, she couldn't give me a time that they called. Then she expected me to pay out of pocket for it all. I have good insurance through my employer and it's likely they just want to make more money by this. (They can charge more to non-insurance patients).
This place is also listed on my insurance company's website of providers that accept my insurance. if you don't take insurance, just go ahead and let the public know that you do out of pocket only.

I went in for 4 wisdom teeth extractions on a 10am appointment that I was told would be 1.5 hrs, surely be out by 12pm. I got in to the back quick enough only to have the practioner hop around me and other patients. I was out by 1:40pm and I went to pick up my pain meds which I was told would be ready by the time I got there since they asked me at noon what pharmacy I use. I got to the pharmacy and they had no requests. I had someone call ACE (since I couldn't talk) and they ifact saw that for whatever reason, the withdrew thier request but would send it again. After waiting half an hr, I got my antibiotics but still no meds nor mention of them. When I asked the pharmacy, they said that ACE did not submit the proper request for the pain meds and that they were not responding to them and I ust try to call them. I had someone call ACE and they said that their electronic machine to send that request was not working but that that they would try to get another doctor to fax that request and they would call me when they did. It is 6pm and when I am trying to call that Hewitt office now, a operator tells me they are closed and instead transfers me to the Killeen office which I am assuming are closed too because I it has been ringing through this entire Yelp UN satisfaction review that I am writing.
Moreover, it is Friday and the operator for ACE states this office is closed until Monday. Their "open Saturdays" advertising is what caught my attention in the 1st place but I have yet to be able to schedule a Saturday appointment with them.

Dr. Neha Mangla is awesome, I had to have a tooth pulled and she did a great job. She was really sweet and takes things at your pace. She also made sure she got the whole tooth out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Very kind group of people working there.
