Adele-Rae Florist

Ooooh! I am pleased to see a beautiful small local florist shop on the Heights! I recently visited Adele-Rae for a small low-light plant to put on my office desk so it can look prettier. I got what I was looking for, but also found other very beautiful plants and flowers for next time!

The owner was very nice and kind. She watered my plant a little bit before handing it to me and told me how to take care of it. I also asked her about other plants and she took her time to tell me about them even though she was busy with paperwork.

I just found the security guy a tad bit irritating as the shop was small and there are plants everywhere, so there wasn't a lot of space to move around. He was there every time I turn around. He kind of deterred me from browsing the plants for the future because I felt that I was watched and there's the whole social distancing and crowdedness/small space etc etc.

It was my best friends birthday and I wanted to send flowers. Living in CA, I needed to find a local shop to her. I found Adele-Rae online and ordered. My friend received her flowers last night and loved them! She said they were amazing and she was going to tell her friends about this great florist. Thanks again!

Since moving to Nova Scotia, I have been using Adele-Rae Florist Ltd. since 2003; they have always been quick to response, deliver and present gorgeous bouquets to the people I love. They have never said, "no" to any of my last minute deliveries; Best service ever.

I called from the States to place a delivery order - the person on the phone (sorry I didn't get your name!) was very helpful and friendly. The beautiful arrangement was delivered as promised and I received both an email confirmation of the order as well as delivery. Thanks for making this an easy process. I also love the option for a bouquet vs. a vase - it's the first time I've ever been offered that option.

Great experience! Ordering online was easy and a I liked when I got an email letting me know when the flowers were delivered. My friend sent me a photo of the flowers and they were beautiful! Will use again !

I sent their $50 florist's choice bouquet for my mother for mother's day and it was a sad excuse for a bouquet. I would not even pay $20 for it had I seen it in advance. This used to be my favourite neighbourhood florist. I'm not sure what happened.
