Advanced Dentistry of Centre County

Advanced Dentistry was one of the few places that were taking new patients and is close to my house, so we thought we would try them out. Both my wife and I were seen by some of the nicest hygienists we've ever met. They strike a good balance of making us feel comfortable by talking, but not talking so much that we feel obligated to try and talk while their hands are in our mouths! They always remember something about our work or family etc when we come back and it shows they really do care.

I've been back for two crowns, a root canal, a filling, and a mouth guard scan and each time the staff is just so incredibly nice. I really appreciate how they are sensitive to busy schedules and will see you immediately upon your arrival and do everything as quickly as they can.

Dr. Kwon was nothing special, but you only get a few seconds with a dentist at a normal appointment anyway so it wasn't a huge deal. My biggest complain is unique to surgery-related issues, in that there is essentially no way to contact the Dr outside of his 3 day work week. In theory you can email him, but he doesn't seem to reply to those. This is an issue when you have a dental "emergency" which might disrupt your whole week but isn't extreme enough to go to an emergency room.
