I heard a radio commercial for Align and the part about hormone balancing interested me so I made an appointment to check it out. The people I met with for my consultation were very, very nice. Warm, welcoming, friendly staff. Beyond that, I don't have anything good to say. This program isn't worth anywhere near the $2,500 they are asking for a 3 month program. Outrageous is right. For that $2,500, you'll get a number of supplements that you need to take everyday for a couple months, and I'm assuming a recommended meal plan since you will be buying your own food at the grocery store (which is a good thing actually) and a hair analysis to check for food sensitivities (which is an entirely unproven method, by the way). Oh, and you'll also have regular check-in appointments to monitor your weight loss success. For the $30 consultation fee they charge for your initial appointment, you get a print out from their body scan scale. Absolutely no mention of blood tests or anyway of measuring your actual hormone levels either before or during the program. Save your time and money and go buy some books on nutrition, buy your own body scan scale and some supplements like L-carnitine, etc. and do it yourself. If you are morbidly obese, there are better programs with actual medical supervision (blood tests, etc.) that you would be better off spending this kind of money on. At least I only lost $30 checking it out. Caveat emptor!
