So went here last week or the week before but either way the lady that did my hair screwed up and didn't quote me the right price and I ended up paying a total of 253 for a shitty hair dye job and my roots are super dark and the rest of my hair is somehow red and she rushed the last of my time with her and all she did was some kinda shampoo cocktail to make it look okay well it didn't look to bad after it was cut but the next day it was super noticeable that I had 3 different tones in my hair talked to the manager and he offered to fix it but honestly I don't trust them with my hair now should of been done right the first I'm so upset and now my hair is super dry and just looks like shit and the girl that colored my hair only put two highlights in ..

Decided to turn myself from a dark brunette to a blonde aT home and when that didn't work, came in for a color correction with short notice! I went in looking like Anna from "Frozen" and walked out looking like a hot Elsa! Hassan was amazing and somehow managed to keep my hair feeling silky smooth and not fried! He suggested some appropriate products that I have been LOVING and even suggested some styling tips for my new do! The cut was fresh, the price was much less than I would've expected to pay and the customer service was top-notch! Can't wait to go back for more hair pampering and TLC!

I'm always happy with the haircuts I get here. You know how some places just rush through like they don't care about the quality of what they're doing? This place doesn't do that. They take their time even with washing your hair and they make sure it looks really good before you leave. Every time I try a different place the quality of the haircut just doesn't compare. It is a little pricy but absolutely worth it since they do a proper job.

I absolutely loved this salon for over 1 year, went every week to have my hair blow dried and flat ironed. Over the past 3 months huge changes have occurred and there has been significant staff overturn. This did not disrupt my appointments and everyone remained friendly and upbeat.
However when I went to my scheduled appointment and was sitting at the sink, I was told effective immediately the cost of my treatment had increased $20!! The stylist claimed that the increase was fair and just as per the manager and reflected the time and product to use on my hair ($40 to $60).
Now I agree that things do increase in price, and I do agree my hair had grown BUT is the proper time to tell someone this at the sink?
No, they could have told me 1) when I booked the appointment or 2) when they called to confirm. I was offered to speak to the manager...but he wasn't available. I have not returned nor will I return to this location. Can you imagine telling any client of a price increase effective immediately? WOW!
(I waited 1 month to post because as you can imagine I was MAD) Hope someone finds this helpful.

The worst salon experience of my life. The manager is sorely lacking customer service skills and should not be dealing with the public.

I booked a hair appointment, eyelash & eyebrow tint. The aesthetician was supposed to dye my eyelashes & eyebrows a medium brown. Instead, she dyed my eyebrows purple and almost blinded me while attempting to do the eyelash tint. She said it was because I had blonde hair and a light skin tone--what?? I can't be the only blonde customer in Calgary can I ?

When I asked to speak with the manager, I ended up dealing with someone named Hassan. The first thing he said to me with a smirk on his face was "the aesthetician doesn't work for me, she just rents the space" . Wrong thing to say to a woman with burning eyes and stinging, purple eyebrows!!

I told him that when I phoned to book the appointment, no one told me that my hair appointment would be with an employee and my other treatments would be with a contractor. He said: "well we just book appointments for her--do you want my help or not?" How dare this manager take her phone calls and obviously take a cut of her sales and then when there is a problem, totally distance himself and take no responsibility for the the situation?

On top of that, he threatened the aesthetician with losing her space and made her cry. In the end, they got another stylist to try and mix a colour to fix my eyebrows, but all it did was bleach all the colour out and leave them a weird pink/orange colour, which I was forced to live with for almost 2 months until it grew out! The skin all around my eyebrows was red and swollen for 2 days after from all the chemical junk they put on me.

Did I ever get an apology from the manager, a gift certificate, a free bottle of shampoo, or even a phone call? Absolutely not. I have been going to different Angles locations in Calgary for over 10 years and I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!

My boyfriend bought me a gift card for a pedicure over christmas, when i called to book an appointment they told me that the current esthetician does not sell gift cards and the one he bought it from no longer worked at that location. Now I called the location she went to and was informed that because theyre a franchise they could not accept the card either, and maybe i would be able to use it for another service, like a haircut. I already have a hairdresser that I love.
I will NEVER support any Angles if this is the way they do business!

Friendly staff but horrible cuts and colour. Very expensive too, might as well go to HedKandi!

I recently switched over to this salon, and have been having my hair highlighted and cut by Sara. Although this salon is ridiculously expensive for where its located and considering its not high end, Sara does do a great job with colouring and cutting. I think their prices went up the last time I went there, and it ended up being over 200 bucks for a cut and highlights. I'm sure you could find a better value, but I trust that Sara will do a great job every time I go.

My appointment started off well but soon another customer came in and I was forgotten for almost an hour with my colour in my hair ( it was supposed to be 30-40 min). I watched as the colour got darker and darker on my forehead but was too polite to interrupt my hairdresser with her newly arrived client. Eventually she came over washed out the colour then explained I wold have to wait longer because her new customer needed to be tended to. I agreed, understanding that these thing happen, then after 30 min a new hairdresser came over to do something to my hair, It seemed as she was trying to help her friend but whatever she was doing started burning my scalp. My patience grew thin, I asked what she was doing because I was not informed of anything. She was toning down my highlights and trying to remove the thick black line which had now stained my forehead. After another 10- 15 min my original hairdresser returned as she was done with her other client and picked up where the other one left off, then I saw my scalp in the mirror for the first time it looked red and my forehead had brown splotches on it. All I kept thinking is how I would look at work tomm. I still politely sat and waited till the trim and blow dry was over then proceeded to thank her and go to the receptionist to pay. It was there I found out the cost was $60- 80 over the price they quoted me over the phone. I expected some variation but not that much and especially since my experience wasn't the greatest. She took $20 off after I informed them. But overall I felt awkward and unappreciative of being placed in a position like that. I would not recommend here, especially for a colour. Too bad because it's really convenient for me.
