Ari's Tavern

Chicken wings were frozen and gross. The waiter at the bar did not acknowledge me take my order. I sat there for 10 minutes looking At him while he took other people's orders. Guess it's a family business underage kids working here. Never come here sorriest bar in Denver or Colorado for that matter.

Just stumbled across this place while in Denver for business. Got there for happy hour. 2 for 1 draft beers. But the kicker was their green chili. Made fresh everyday. It was awesome.
Gary the bartender was a great host too.
I'll be back on my next visit next week.
This place is a hidden gem !!!

My neighbors took us here on June 25th. Surprised how small but quaint this place was. Not busy yet . Staff was super friendly. Looked clean all around.
They have a Philly Friday and even though we went on Saturday they had a few left over. I had one with provolone and cheese wiz and it was one of the hottest ( not spicy hot but hot hot) and best Philly I've had in a long while. So hot I burned top of my mouth. But worth the pain. Family had burgers and there chicken tenders and everything was top notch delicious. Definitely eating here again soon. Thanks neighbors for the great find.

We have come in several times and have asked for medium rare burgers. They are always super slow. The kid is stoned at the counter and asks the same question multiple times, and the burgers are always well done or worse. We are done with this disaster of a restaurant. As a restaurant owner myself it makes me sad to post this but it's just unacceptable! I'm surprised this place is still in business. Sad sad sad. It was a cool venue and good lactation but the fact there can be like two people in the place and it takes 40 minutes for food is BS! No DoorDash or third parties I have seen. Boo!!!!!!!

New ownership as of December 2018....friendly family, good atmosphere, the green chili is ridiculous! Can't go wrong with any menu item. The beer is cold and the liquor selection is decent.... they have different activities every night, including karaoke on Thursday nights...no, I'm not getting paid for this review... they're "new" and praiseworthy...

I love this place hands down my neighborhood bar! I would tell anyone that would ask to go here for the food service or that awesome cucumber shot!

Just visited Ari's and learned Michael sold it last m--we had a burger and a burrito, but something missing here. Probably not a go-to spot for us anymore.

Had a great day! Watching football, having drinks and meeting new friends. Green chili is great. Had my first cucumber shot, awesome! Can't wait to get back in town for second visit. Big Thank you to Gary!

A co-worker talked this place up and it lived up to every word. I had the burger with American cheese and frings (fries and onion rings). The meal was also served with a roasted jalapeño pepper and a side of guacamole. The meat was fresh and the burger was large with the patty spilling out from the buns. Simply amazing and deserving of this 5 stars. The service was stellar and I gathered that the hostess knows who the regulars are. My coworker was apparently a regular for lunch.

It's really a bar located in an off beat semi industrial area so if you end up at Ari's it's by no accident. Therefore it seems to depend on word of mouth and that's always a good thing if you want great food and service.

I can't say enough about the burger and unless it's dethroned, it's the best burger I've had in Denver!! Hands down!

I'm looking forward to returning for happy hour, live music, comedy or karaoke in the near future.

Just stopped in for a beer to kill sometime. Bartender made good conversation and offered a little sample of the BADASS GREEN CHILI when I asked how it was! Turns out it's damn good and has a perfect amount of heat. Not overpowering but right in that Mexico City, Phil's Place, Chubby's zone... Cold beer, badass green chili and good service. I'll be back, sucks for the wife it's on my way home from work. Sorry babe.
