The AC unit in our condo was acting erratic with the cooling and the temperature, so we got Art Plumbing to check the unit out. Alex was our technician and he was a very professional, polite and patient contractor. He explained what the issue was and the options to move forward.
It took him about 2 hours to get the whole job done, but the unit is now running well and no issues. Depending on the item, some parts and services are covered 30 or 90 days. So make sure you read the contract.
I was very happy with their professional service. I would recommend.Helpful 11Thanks 1Love this 7Oh no 0 - Suzie K.Madison, AL06Apr 3, 2024
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY.
They look slick and do not deliver anything they say they would. We lost our deposit but that was better than paying $5k to an unprofessional and unorganized company. The electric side of the operation doesn't know what the plumbing side is doing and vice versa. They don't have adequate staff. They use call centers to "handle" calls and NO ONE knows anything and no one returns calls. IF IT WAS Possible TO GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD! I wish I had read
DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tito S.Weston, FL442Jan 29, 2024Updated review
BTW i just found in the city that after 3 years, the AC installation didnt pass the inspection and have pending corrections.

I trusted this company to install my AC and do yearly checkups, I was out for an emergency trip and left my wife in charge they always charge $100 for a checkup flush the drain + rinse, this occasion while i was out they present 3 options to my wife and charge her $556 for an 84 dollar job, and this was the cheapest option they present 450 dollars just to drain with hot water and add a $12 algae strip as you can see in the description, the other options where disguised as advanced and pro options and they where $1000 and $1200 for the same job and unnecessary things over a 3-year-old AC, you can see the description, never leave them alone if you don't know anything about ACs they will try to suck all your money, and this wasn't even an emergency, the worst is that they recommend doing more things than you need on an ac even installed by them. - Elena T.Davie, FL02Apr 15, 2024
I needed to replace a 25 year old water heater and called Home Depot Installation Services (Home Depot) and was told that Art Plumbing, A/C, and Electric (Art) is covering this service. As I called around 8 am I was informed that the installation would be done on the same day. My request was not an emergency, nor did it require weekend, evening, or holiday work. A representative called, and I explained that I want a specific water heater - nothing fancy, a 50 gallon electric located in the garage. However, I was told that the technician would install "whatever is in the truck". Several conversations occurred with Art and Home Depot, where I mentioned that either I would get the unit that I want, or I would not need any service. I was later called and told that a technician would come around 3 pm for an installation. The installation went very well, but the unit that I ordered was upgraded to a more expensive model. Everything is in electronic format, including the estimate of the services on a tablet that was barely visible as the background was too dark. I was assured that everything that I signed and/or agreed to would be e-mailed to me. I found out that this is not true. I was charged $1618.03 for everything - permit fee, water heater, one shutoff valve, one square metal drip tray, taxes, and installation. The actual permit came out at $91.30 representing a standard fee for any type/cost of water heater, and the rest is a mystery as I never received any invoice from either Art or Home Depot. I did find out from the owner of Art that $300 was allotted to the permit fee and processing of the permit. In my case, the permit authority has an all electronic process and no physical visit is required for anything. The inspection was done 27 days after the water heater installation. Overall I am very impressed with the technician and his work, and with the quick response from the owner as things did move along quickly after he was involved. However, the pricing and overall service of other employees are something to be desired. Unfortunately, I would not be looking to either Home Depot or Art for further improvements to my house.

Just a warning, don't go near this company. Recently had a flood in my apartment and this company spent more time figuring out how to overcharge than doing the work to fix the problem. You've been warned!

I called Art because my AC unit was leaking water in my garage, so the inside unit. The technician who came in spoke to me about my issues and then took a look. I had cleaned the coils the prior year with another company and I thought that may it. I asked how much it would be to change them. He came back with something like $1900. He didn't give be an exact number, just a ballpark. I thought it was a bit much, so then I asked how much it would be to change the whole AC unit. This is where things get strange. He guesstimated (again ) about 6k. I asked him to give me an actual quote on paper and that I would get another couple of quotes. He refused to do it. He actually said that he wouldn't until he saw what other companies brought to the table. He tried lots of sales tactics, but I was very up front to him that it would be a big expense and I can't just go with the first company, and since he isn't even giving me a point of comparison, I would call other companies. In the end, he said he could repair my problem for $400. I let him do it, it came out to $484, but I was pretty upset that he didn't give me that as an option until he saw I wasn't going to use him at all. I felt that he was dishonest and was trying to take advantage of me. It's been a couple of months and his repair is holding, but the next time I have AC issues, I will change the unit, but will not be calling them.

I recieved services from Art plumbing. I feel so frustrated and disappointed in their service, I do not recommend this company! They lied and told me the job would be $3500 FLAT. Later, after the service was completed and after I had to
Chase them around for serveral days to get them to complete the job, they told me my service was 5100! I lost serval days of working waiting around for them to never show up and then they took advantage of me and forced me to pay more than quoted. After paying 5100, my AC was still not functioning and I had to have another company come and finish the job. I tried to contact them and have them come back out to rectify the ac again and they didn't call me back for 2 weeks! Do not fall for their non sense, they are deceetful and left me struggling with no ac in this south Florida heat for over a week! Not to mention the billing issue!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Scott S.Fort Lauderdale, FL01Jan 31, 2024
Both my AC units weren't functioning properly. Had a service call and after all the adding the bill was $5,000 !!!
The bill wasn't itemized so I have no idea what each service cost !
AC units are fine now but Art is a total scam and way overpriced !!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 15, 2023
Well looks like the other 237 reviews are right and I should have have checked Yelp to begin with. Wow you don't show, but I took off work and at home waiting for you. When I called at 4:00 to see how far they were away they basically told me they aren't coming. Wait what! You sent a text to confirm I was showing up the day before then I leave work end wait and you don't show. I called and got someone very rude end unprofessional. I would say save your money, but save your time from these people!

Replaced both of my AC units. New Rheem units work much better than my old ones did, and as promised, my electric bill has dropped.
Wife appreciated the picture of the tech that appeared ahead of time. On time, clean, friendly... highly recommended!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
