We've used Brian's company for the past 6 years. They've always been professional, on-time, and reasonable. Even with this last issue of a inexperienced, untruthful, HVAC tech, Brian was right there to correct the issues even if it meant his crew was working after hours to finish up.

Couldn't recommend this company more. Wonderful. Excellent customer service. Polite. Professional. Kind. Etc etc. Awesome company with a very sweet man as the owner.
Our AC wasn't working because fan's motor was just done in our unit. So we called couple of places they were the only ones to answer right away and send someone right away. The gentleman (owner) who came went on and beyond to help us fix our fan's motor. At the end it worked and the AC was back on.
I must admit this company and the gentleman who owns it are a breath of fresh air in this area (where we got the impression no one wants to work here, it takes a very long time to get anything done in the Palm Coast area). Fantastic company! Polite, fast, efficient and reasonably priced. I called about our AC not working properly and within 18 hours they had it as fixed as it could be (it needs replacing but they were able to get me working for the time being)

Lost my ac last night and called my service provider only to be told they don't answer the phone until 8 am. Well what good is advertising emergency service if they don't come when the emergency happens? After searching and calling two more companies who had answering machines I called Atec Air and Heat and actually got a live person who was more than helpful and explained their techs come out 24/7 . Relief was on the way and within two hours owner Brian showed up and fixed the problem and my house is cool again!!!
I highly recommend ATEC Air and Heating for all your service needs. Emergencies never happen during regular business hours so who needs a company that will only answer an emergency 8 and 5? Put your trust in Brian and the team at ATEC. I am a real person not being paid to write this review and now I am a customer of ATEC for life! One of the units in my home was not cooling and I called ATec and Matthew responded (UNDER 1.5 hours!). He not only fixed the unit that was not working but also did a tune-up on all 3 zones! It is cool in the house now!
Matthew was really good at letting me know what he found and what needed to be done. These units are REALLY different than what I was used to in California and he showed me how to change the filters on the units.

Atec bought out RHS in 2016. We our under warranty and get the pre-paid bi-yearly service.
The tech in January was awesome. He noted to change out the "L" brackets the next service in July.
As our July service was approaching, I called to remind them about the "L" brackets replacement and to bring the upgraded filter.
I was reassured by the clerk that is was all in the computer and the technician will have it in his truck.
Fast forward, he didn't have anything! Tech said we needed a replacement part... cost over $200.00. Never showed us the "bad" part but will come back tomorrow with the "L" screws.
Weeks go by. I called and told the clerk we're under warranty and the tech never came back with the "L" screws.
He came by that afternoon, made a mess leaving sharp metal pieces all over where my dogs run, his drill battery died and I loaned him mine!
He had his phone glued to his ear.
Once I finally talked to the accounting person, left many messages, she said she will mail me back the $120 overcharged.
Three weeks later , left three messages, no return call! The clerk said she only mails out once a month. My check will be mailed this Tuesday and she will call me.

Had my AC unit set up on a yearly maintenance agreement. Called the office and the girl (sorry forgot her name) was great at answering all my questions and set up a day/time for initial service. Pricing and benefits are great!! TJ the technician showed up at the agreed time slot. He answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable and didn't make me feel like I was bothering him. He explained everything and suggested necessary repairs. He even went as far as checking if anything was still covered under warranty. I would highly recommend Atec to anyone needing AC work. Called Atec for a second opinion after our regular company left us without ac for 3 days in August, unable to fix our 10 yr old system, saying the compressor was bad and needed to be replaced at a cost of 1k, but piece was out of state and would take a week to be delivered. Matt came out, found a sizzled wire, replaced it, filled up the coolant and started it up again. Been running just fine since. 5 stars for their honesty and instincts.

I used this company to clean my vents when I purchased my new home and was pleased, so when I realized shortly thereafter that a couple of my rooms were not getting the ventilation necessary to keep them cool I called them again. Tech was nice, came out, quoted me a decent price to add two vents and told me they would subtract the cost of the estimate visit from the price. I called to schedule that and the receptionist was rude, said it was incorrect but would "check" with the owner and get back with me. That was about two weeks ago. Maybe the owner only comes in monthly? I can't stand rude receptionists and I really don't like when an employee doesn't call me back. Even if the original tech screwed up, they should have just waived the $40 and scheduled the job - I paid that much in tip the first time the guys were out. What a shame, hard to find good help down here :(

We called Brian & Deb for our home a/c unit. It was freezing up and we didnt know what to do. Brian came out in the pouring rain and fixed our a/c. Hes very kind and professional and knows his business very well. He explained things to me like a teacher would. Thank You so much for coming right out and also taking the time to show me what was wrong with it.
