Atlantic Automotive

My family and I have been going to Atlantic Automotive for years and I can't say enough about them! They've always taken great care of us, be it for oil changes, tire changes, and whatever other problems pop up along the way! I've always found their pricing to be reasonable and George and his team are always kind and explain everything very clearly, which is always appreciated for someone like me who knows absolutely nothing about cars!

Quoted one price proclaimed 600 more bad news breaks ended up costinv 3 times that. 2 months later driving down main rd breaks ceased never checked lines i almost died! They wanted $500 more! I took car off rd. Too many complaints by people ive spoken with.

Atlantic used to be one of the best places to have work done on your car.
It was the go to place for people in Rockland/Abington. Now the prices have gone way up and the work quality has gone way down. I brought my new 2017 car w/less than 12k miles on it in for a simple oil change and they called me with a list of things that should be done. The tires should be balanced & rotated, the air filter needs to be replaced, etc. etc. - I had just had a free oil change and tire rotation at the dealership at 8k miles... I said no to all of it and the guy actually sounded offended. I will never go back there again.

If you are looking for a mechanic that isn't gonna take you to the cleaners, be honest with you and get the job done quick and best of all good,than Atlantic is the place. Darren Is awesome... through the years he has worked on all my families cars and with 4 daughters and me and my husband...THATS ALOT OF CARS!

I feel all my cars lasted forever and that's because of the great care that Darren always took of them. I can't praise the shop enough .. all the guys there are great, and unfortunately I don't remember all their names but they have always given the best and fastest service. I would recommend them to anyone on the south shore and even as I moved 30 minutes away from the shop and had many shops around me I still went here so that I could trust what was happening...

Went here for my inspection sticker. These guys had me in and out quickly and professionally. The guy there knew what he was doing and made what has been a chore for me in the past an easy task. Thanks Atlantic.

It is difficult to find a good mechanic. I used to bring my car here frequently about 10 years ago because it was near my work, I stopped going when I changed jobs. I work in the area of the business again and I recently had a "check engine" light come on, so I made an appointment. This place is good, and will tell you like it is. They took a while with my car (because I dropped it off) because they have a lot of business, and take time to evaluate. They were honest, and didn't overcharge me. To be exact they hook me up to the scanner and found out the car just had an oil leak. The changed the oil, did not charge me a diagnostic test and explained what happened. I will use this place going forward!

I was originally quoted for repairs by another shop in the Boston area, but came back home to do some of the repairs myself to save money. One proved to be too much of a pain, and I wanted to get it done before returning to the area, so I called up Atlantic Automotive and they were willing to do the repair without a prior appointment. Even better, they charged me almost HALF the quote the other shop gave me. I'll admit the first shop's waiting area was a lot nicer, but I don't want to be paying a premium on top of my repairs just for a nice place sit. I will definitely be bringing major car repairs here, its worth the extra gas.

Darren Kerfien and the guys at Atlantic are the best. I will only bring my wife and my car here for mechanic work even though they are a little further away because they only do what is needed/best and nothing unnecessary. They do not try to upsell you (which has occurred at other shops I have been to) for other items and charge fairly for the parts and labor. Darren especially is very knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for cars. You can see he takes pride in his work and the results. They recently did a great job fixing my brakes/rotors as well as my wife's air conditioning (which by the way a couple other mechanics failed to fix properly). Thanks guys!
