I've struggled with my curly hair my whole life with no hairstylist being able to give me solid advice on how to help it. I came in with frizzy damaged hair and Abrey helped me immensely, not only taking care of my hair but teaching me how to do it myself. Lastly I'm a super awkward person but Abrey was super nice through the whole appointment making me feel at ease. Highly recommend her, thank you!

I've been a devoted client of Jasmin since her days in Santa Monica/Beverly Hills and honestly, she's the only one who gets my curls right. So much so, I followed her all the way to Austin! She's got this magic touch that brings my curls back to life every single time. It's never just a trim with her; it feels more like a total curl revival, tailored just for me.

I recently visited Austin Curls for a scheduled appointment at 1:30 pm, but unfortunately, I wasn't seen until 2:23 pm, resulting in over an hour of waiting. While the salon is undeniably beautiful, the lengthy wait for my appointment was quite frustrating. Although the hairstylist did apologize for the delay, the experience left me feeling disappointed.

Additionally, I was surprised to find that my service totaled $174, exceeding the $157 I had anticipated based on the online pricing. This discrepancy in pricing added to my dissatisfaction with the overall experience. Regrettably, I don't think I'll be returning to Austin Curls in the future, as the level of customer service I received did not meet my expectations.

This was my first time going to a place that specializes in curly hair, which is kind of crazy considering I'm 35. Total game changer!

Jasmin did an amazing job cutting, styling my hair and sending me home with instructions so I could better care for my curls! It was years since I last got my hair cut, but I definitely won't wait that long this time.

I recently moved to Austin and was in need of a hair stylist. At first, I honestly wondered if I could time trips back to California around the time I needed a haircut. If you have curls, you understand that once you find the stylist who understands your hair, you stick with them for life!
After deciding that having to fly for a haircut was crazy, I yelped 'curly hair cuts', and up popped Austin Curls. I made an appointment for a month later.
Upon arrival at the salon, I was stunned. Everyone is beautiful, healthy, curly hair! It was like a curly hair oasis. I showed Jasmin my hair inspiration and she got to work. At the end of my appointment, she taught me how to style my hair. I am 38 years old and had never been taught to do the things that Jasmin showed me.
I left with the most beautiful curls. I was convinced that I would never be able to make my hair look the same way that she had. So I vowed to never wash my hair again.
Then the time came to wash my hair and try the 'rake and shake' for myself. I watched the videos that Jasmin sent, and read the instructions (she sent instructions so I wouldn't forget!) carefully. The result was a head of beautiful curls!!! I have been able to repeat the styling over and over with the same result!!
Since my first cut I've been back to Jasmin for a maintenance cut- it's pretty easy book about 4 weeks out.
Bottom line- if you have curls that you want to bring back to life- you must entrust them to Jasmin!!

Okay. So. I'm late as my appointment was like early to mid July. But I totally want to come on here and give all the praises! I had my first appointment with Destiney! She's the sweetest coolest gal, and I learned alot but also felt so great working with her and getting my hair done! I've never had a curly cut, never had the experience of having my natural hair taken care of the way Destiney did and im so happy I went! My hair felt lighter immediately, we reviewed products to keep and ditch, scalp health and tons more! I fully intend to nail her and this salon down as permanent go to!!! It was easy to book and just loved my experience!!!!

I have never had a sailing have a online scheduling system but every single appointment I book gets denied. If that's the case I would prefer to call and create a booking but they don't do that either. Then the one consultation I was able to keep they then asked me to come in 3/4 hours earlier.

If you are able to get in they seem like they would produce good results but the hassle of trying to get an appointment is crazy. I shouldn't feel like I am forcing someone to try to take my money and the communication is mostly non-existent, 90% of the time it was me reaching out to find out why or what happened.

Update: I stand by what I said as this is my experience. I do have all of the emails to back up what I have said. In response to someone else. I didn't care who I saw, I did care what location I went to. That location gave me no other options.

I have no feedback on the services as it never got that far.

Great place. They know what they're doing. & I love the short wait time-- honored the appointment time which is a big plus. Abrey did a great job w/ my curly cut!!!
