I was so happy to have found Dr Igbnovia However, I found him to be rude and overbearing. I am on many medications and the first thing he wanted to do was change my medications. I did not want this done as I have specialists for most of the prescriptions. He doesn't seem to care about his patient's and doesn't get back if I left messages. I have been waiting for two months for an accident report for my insurance. I December 2021 I broke my neck in a car accident (my car was totalled). I also moved to North York. Twice I had to hire a taxi to go to his office as he wouldn't talk to me on the phone. This cost over $100 both times. He didn't show any concern after my accident. I didn't even know my appointment was finished. He just walked out. I didn't know if he was coming back. He doesn't respond to faxed prescription refill requests from the drug store. Please save yourself the frustration of dealing with Dr Efosa Igbnovia!

I took my son's 2.5 and 1.5 years old to get their flu shots. I made an appointment for 3:30. I got there at 3:20 to register and get thru the paperwork. She made us wait over an hour.

Do not go to this clinic. They do not respect social distancing and disinfection protocols by overbooking and still accepting walk-ins. Patients are in exam rooms right next to each other and I do not see the rooms getting cleaned between patients.

I brought my 4 year old daughter in for a possible bladder infection on a Wednesday morning. The one receptionist was very helpful and caring. I was told her urine sample would be tested at the lab and they would call with the results. The Dr gave me a script for antibiotics to start taking if we felt necessary until the results came in. If it was positive then continue taking for one week and if negative then to stop taking the antibiotics.
I called the clinic on Thursday at 4pm since I hadn't heard back. The nice receptionist said the results were not in yet and to call back Friday morning. She said a different receptionist would be in and would tell me the results.
I called back Friday at 1pm and spoke with the other receptionist, Melony. She refused to give me the results and said that I would have to come in for a "follow up visit" (so that they could bill and get paid). She said that my daughter didn't even need to be there for the visit (which indicates no further testing would need to be done). I explained to her that I just needed to know if she was to take the antibiotics or not and that it was not possible for me to come in. They were closing at 5pm and I was at work with my own patients. If they knew they wouldn't provide any results over the phone they should be letting patients know ahead of time to book a follow up and not tell them that they will call with the results (If I hadn't called them to find out who knows when they would have called me).
We use to go to Orchid Medical in town but it's no longer a walk in clinic. They were fabulous! They would call to check in on my daughter and always gave any results over the phone.
My family doctor growing up would make his calls at 9pm on his own time to give his patients their results!! I guess some doctors today are not what they use to be. This doctor didn't even bother to talk with me over the phone to explain why we had no choice but to come in. He is clearly more concerned about money than his patients. It's too bad because we would have gone back and he would make money from future visits. Now we will be going elsewhere!
I certainly will not be referring any of my patients there.

I found Dr Igbinovio to be very pleasant and caring, he was polite and thorough and made me feel at ease. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful too. Would definitely recommend if you're new to the area and looking for a family doctor.

      First to Review

I was hoping I had found a new family doctor but unfortunately, Dr. Igbinovia left me feeling disappointed and not confident. My first interaction with the office was okay. I wasn't impressed by the lack of friendliness by the 2 office ladies. When I met the Dr. for the first time, I thought it might work, however after my second visit to the office, I was certain that I could not make Dr. Igbinovia my family doctor. He was rude and unprofessional in dealing with a simple ailment that all doctors should be well able to handle. Having a background in the health care field and working in another doctor's office, I know very well how patients should be treated and spoken to. Unfortunately, Dr. Igbinovia did not meet those standards. I cannot return to him or recommend him.
