I came here with an appointment and was not started until over half an hour later.
The person working on my pedicure was in a rush, and pretending to remove cuticle, without even touching my toenails. I asked her to clean on the sides, she started pulling upwards, causing me a lot of pain. It stopped hurting when she stopped pulling, several hours later, now, it is swollen and hurting a lot!
I chose regular polish to give my nails a break from the gel/shellac. She didn't file my nails and painted on top of the creases. I can see the rugged toenails painted, with lighter shades on the corners (I am pretty sure she only did one layer).
When I got home, my heels were so rough, I could still see the tissue not having been removed.
I went back to the place, the person in charge could not, for the love of God, understand or acknowledge what I was asking. He just offered to fix it. I was appreciative of that, until I noticed I was kept waiting for a while on a day I wasn't counting on having to go back in.
I decided to leave, I let him know in a very polite way.
I am proud of myself for having kept it together, but it does make me mad that I didn't get a simple pedicure done right from the beginning. Now I am getting on a flight tomorrow with "wrinkled" and painful toenails!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Taja C.TX, TX0184Apr 27, 2024
This is my last time coming here! I've been here many times and I've had some issues in the past. I've given them multiple chances. Today my experience was by far the worst. The customer service here is terrible...at least it is for Black women. I noticed a huge difference in how I was treated (poorly) in comparison to their non-black customers. I was not greeted by my pedicure technician, Randy, not offered anything to drink, and my manicure tech, Thu, arrived late. However, other customers around me were immediately offered beverages and their nail techs arrived on time. Plus, my manicurist, Thu, cut me twice, made me bleed and my cuticles are still sore. This is not my first time having an issue with Thu, I caught her giving my nasty glares on another occasion that I was at this salon.
When I brought this up to the managers, Duc and Sophia, they did nothing to make this situation right. Sophia did not bother to apologize and when I told her that I had a bad experience she was dismissive and clearly did not care. Duc provided excuses such as "Sorry, we were really busy" which is unacceptable. If they were SO busy, why did other customers receive drinks and better customer service than I did? They gave another excuse that they girl at the front counter is new but she managed to get drinks to everyone else except me.
If you screw up, apologize and try to make things right, don't give me excuses. Your managers failed at this. As a black woman, the way I was treated here was deplorable. Clearly this salon does not value their black customers.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 13, 2023Updated review
This nail salon does a good job in some areas, and terrible in others. They are good with nails overall, but scheduling is downright the worst. The manager has no understanding of customer service and the definition of an "appointment."
I've had the same issue twice. Made an appointment for my wife and daughter - both times they made my daughter wait for 30 minutes. After talking to the manager, he made an excuse about me rescheduling the appointment - but if he agreed to reschedule, I assume there's availability of technicians accordingly. He said because I rescheduled, my daughter had to wait for 30 minutes.
When I see managers blaming customers for their mistakes, I expect more issues with that place. I don't plan on going back here.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Feb 6, 2021Previous reviewMy first experience with this nails salon was great! The manager was very accommodating. The lovely ladies doing the nails were friendly, not super talkative but nice. The place was very clean and socially distanced. Plexiglass at the manicure stations. Every single employee was wearing a mask, the manicurist was double masked and I appreciated this (not been the case at other nail salons I have been to). They sprayed my hands with alcohol several times during the manicure to keep things clean. Overall it's a beautiful salon with excellent customer service.
The only negative experience was that with the dip manicure they dip your hand in the same container as everyone else while at other salons to keep things hygienic they pour some of the powder into a small dixi cup and throw away the extra powder. Small fix - hopefully they'll change it.
Look forward to coming here again soon.

My toe nail started to turn black on the sides after coming to this place! So disappointed!

I enjoy coming here very much. I drive from New Caney about every 4 weeks and prefer it to places much closer to home. The color selection alone is massive, I can request pretty much any design for my nails, and every one has been very attentive and polite.

After having two, not so great, and one really bad experience at envy nail spa, I simply googled for the nail salon closest to my home, and I found this amazing place. Not only could they do my nails the way I liked it, but they didn't charge me an up charge for something they didn't do. They serve drinks and their customer service is impeccable. They make sure to completely understand exactly what services you want and in what colors and they do it painlessly and quickly. Not only did they fix what the other salon had botched, but they did it with such a cheerful attitude that I don't believe I have had before at other salons.

Experienced the worst customer service by Daven. He was Extremely aggressive while doing my nails, thought it was because he wanted to go home or something but my sister also got her nails done with him and he was aggressive with her as well. Not only that he cut my cuticle and put nail glue on it to stop bleeding. Don't recommend this place overall. It's expensive compared to other places.

Their pedicures are doable but they upped their prices when it's already expensive to begin with. The ladies doing hand nails need more practice. They literally left bumps all over my nails did not smooth out the acrylic. I also repeatedly asked the lady to straighten out my nail next to my pinky, and she kept telling me it would fix after acrylic And then on top of that charged me an extra $10 for medium length when they used to charge 5 and any other establishment you pay five for even the long . I'd save my money and just go across the street. After I explained everything and even reminded them of what they used to charge me, they just looked at me like I was crazy, and we're persistent on overcharging me. Also cut me twice, while pregnant . Not returning
