Dr. McQueen is fantastic. Keeps things low stress. Having cataract surgery tomorrow, and I'll re post afterwards.

From now on, only Corey in Optical will help me choose my lenses! He is incredible! Genuinely so nice and helpful! Doctors are always good too!

We decided to try another optical place but had an awful experience and went back to Berkeley. They've always treated us so well. The staff is always extremely helpful,
polite and professional. When you can't find exactly what you want they will go out of their way to find other options. Juan has always patiently worked with us and when something needs to be adjusted he does it quickly and happily.

Wife's insurance covered opthamology appointment with Dr. McQueen went well. It was the optometry experience that remains a most unsatisfactory nightmare. All she needed was an updated Rx for READING glasses. She was sold bifocals with all the bells and whistles for $500 (pre-paid*) and a 7+day wait. The Rx was wrong. The upper lens distance correction was too strong and, the lower reading Rx excessive as well. The glasses are unusable. The agent persuaded her to try them out to get accustomed to the limiting ranges of bifocaks; and, to bring them back up to 60 days to amend the order at no extra charge; stating there would be no refund otherwise.

She's back to using the drugstore readers and the $500 glasses are a total waste. The practice is extremely busy and the optometry management attitude is "sorry...not sorry". So far, her experience is nothing but frustration and regret for purchasing glasses through Berkeley.

I have been using Berkeley for many years. They are always friendly and take good care of my eyes. I had a detached retina 30 months ago. After several tries they were unable to restore the vision in my eye , but I believe they did all that they could. That's Life. My remaining eye is doing very well.

This is by far the best optical places I have been to. The experience from the time you walk in the clinic to the time you check out is excellent. Everyone is friendly, courteous and very accommodating. They make you feel at ease and they explain in detail everything that they are doing and why so your educated about the process. I was also seen by a retina specialist and the the surgery center was amazing. Everyone followed the new normal protocols to ensure patient safety. Thank you To all the staff the assisted me.

Great and easy process on getting lasik for my husband. Would definitely recommend if anyone is interested.
