Pretty terrible experience. Honestly probably the second worst service experience I've ever had.

After a long road trip my GMC Diesel truck was having problems starting up. I'm not a mechanic but typically I do the work on my vehicles. Most truck work is pretty straight forward for me, but this being my first real issue with a diesel I was advised by some mechanic friends to have a crew that deals exclusively with diesel look at it.

Pretty simple, I thought, the engine turns but doesn't fire up, I prime the fuel filter assembly and fuel leaks out. Must be a problem with that. I take it to the shop, everyone gets covid, ok cool I get it. Month 2 passes and now it's getting ridiculous. I need my truck to get some work done, so they assure me I can drive it around without any issue. I get the truck back and it died after it's first drive. I open the hood, everything is pulled apart, air filter lying on the side. I have to have it towed back.

Long story short after this, they get me the truck back, it drives for a few days on short trips. Does again. I pop the hood, the fuel filter assembly (that was leaking) was never changed out. After taking it back, I'm charged another $500+ dollars to fix the problem I originally took it in for three months earlier.

After uber trips to and from the shop, toeing my truck there twice, and the labor and parts I spent well over $2000 on a job that probably would have cost me a $150 dollars and a few hours of my time to do myself. This isn't even factoring that I didn't have my truck I need for my business for 1/4 of a year.

I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because the front desk guy Rico was pretty cool. I wasn't going to write this review if I got even a hint of them trying to make this better. Not once did anyone say, hey we're sorry, we'll make this better. Hey this is our fault, we're waving the cost of labor on this. Let us cover your Uber trips. Nothing, just "here's your bill".

Avoid this place, they don't respect you, or your time.

Being out of town and having vehicle issues is always a nightmare - especially when you have a diesel, requiring a little extra care and tech knowledge.

My TStat had been acting up and causing my truck to overheat in idle/below 10mph forcing me to pull over every few minutes to let the engine cool down.

I limped into Big 3 at 3:30 pm fully aware that I was most likely not going to be able to get my truck in and out by close.

I do all my research on my trucks so I have a pretty solid idea of what is causing the issues I am having when they arise.

Spoke with Joe and told him the situation I was in and what I believed the issue to be. He was able to get one of his techs to install a new tstat and get the coolant drained in an hour and a half, getting me out the door with a perfectly running truck by 4:45.

The team at Big 3 Diesel repair did a good job on my 2013 Ram 2500. The work completed was top notch, and customer service was very helpful. I plan to go back soon for more things I hope to get done.

Brought my 6.0 excursion in for a check up. It was running really bad when I started it up cold. Big 3 saved me from having to spend thousands of dollars by finding what was causing the problem and fixing it within 48 hours. I am very satisfied with my experience and highly recommend Big 3 Diesel!

Big 3 was exceptional. I am newer to the Tampa area and needed someone to work on my 6.0, finding someone you can trust is hard. Not with Big 3. From the initial phone call, Jet made sure my concerns were heard and I was informed continuously throughout. They take the approach of "lets get the truck drivable, then discuss how much more you want to do". No throwing parts or money at it. They quickly and successfully diagnosed the true problem which was hidden by other symptoms. How often does a shop call you back and say they are not going to change a particular part or do a particular service because it is not needed. Grade A customer service and workmanship. I am already planning my next trip back for elective maintenance. If you own a Ford 6.0 or any diesel for that matter you need to let Big 3 Diesel Repair be your shop of choice.

I had several people and myself trying to fix my f350 6.0 and after spending a lot of money on unnecessary parts only to still not solve the problem. These guys at big 3 found and fixed the problem within a few days. I will be a long time customer for sure. Thanks guys.

I had no idea what was wrong with my truck, neither did 5 other shops. But Big 3 Diesel took great care of me and found the problem same day. Would definitely recommend!
