Big Fish Market

This is my go-to fresh fish place in MoVal. The prices for combos/family packs are reasonable. Food is made fresh while you wait. The flavor is really good, no fishy taste. Staff is friendly and helpful.

service was good and the fish and shrimp was delicious! Not too expensive either. I tried a pie and it made me want to start baking again so pass on the pies‍

Food is good and the greens are fire! They are definitely a go to type of place. I love the catfish, the mojarra fish and it's served hot.

Everything was delicious, seasoned well and plentiful! Hot Sauce and Tartar Sauce are available. Desserts by Mama Julie are too! Service was good, Ambiance was quaint, family style set up. Clean restaurant. Will definitely go again!

Below average food. Way over cooked. Do not recommend eating here. Talked to another person waiting for their food and said that it was a hit and miss. Definitely a miss for us

I ordered the 4piece catfish/4 shrimp/okra & macaroni salad, & 7-up cake. By the time I got home, the breading had fallen off the shrimp & the fish was over cooked... In fact it was so overcooked that it hurt my teeth to bit it! In addition, the seasoning wasn't good. The 7-up cake was was heavy as a brick! This meal was all bad. $20 down the drain.. I ate 1piece of fish, 2 shrimp, 1 bite of the cake and threw the rest away!!

I should have gone to Louisiana Seafood instead!!

I have been going to Big Fish Market since they open. Their fried fish taste like my mom's. She passed in 2015 and she also loved their fish. If my mom liked it that says a lot because she was a great home chef. I am so glad that I can purchase fried fish that taste like my moms.
My family and friends also like Big Fish. I asked my son what he wanted for his birthday and I was surprised because he said a dinner from Big F

Pretty good food. Little pricey but what isn't these days. Order from the younger guy or the older Asian guy if possible. The middle aged dude doesn't know what customer service is. He's ridiculous

My new go to when I want fish, shrimp and oysters always good always fresh. Never too many complaints. Customer service sucks.

What happened? When I reviewed this place years ago, it was the best fried catfish in town! I went yesterday and the fish was edible but greasy, under seasoned and had too much chew-maybe the oil wasn't hot enough?
I'm going to give them one more try because I try to support small businesses, but money is money. Texas Roadhouse has catfish at a decent price and pretty tasty.
