Terrible. They nearly killed my dog last summer by recommending a dosage of Trazadone that was way too high. He was comatose for 2 days. I called the emergency clinic and was told the dosage amount had likely poisoned him and he needed ER care immediately. When I called the clinic the next day, they reconfirmed the amount and said it was correct. Zero accountability and no concern for my dog's condition.
The office is old. They don't use electronic records. And the vet cannot bend or get down to the dog's level. I was asked to hike my 80 pound golden retriever to the waist high table while the vet sat there.
So happy to have switched over to a new clinic. I'd recommend staying far from this office.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nicole K.Keego Harbor, MI1972Apr 21, 2021
My dog had been sick for 3 days and they told me they were too busy to get my dog in we have been taking both of our dogs there for 10 years my
Dog ended up passing away because they were "too busy" had him on too many meds this doctor has no clue how to deal with a dog with dermatitis he was 7 years old. Highly suggest to not take your dogs or any Ananias to this "vet".Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ashley H.San Francisco, CA07Jan 11, 2022
Dr Baird and his staff are the best! Super compassionate and very affordable. Dr Barid is great with animals and keeps them calm through their visit. He is very kind and very knowledgeable. Dr Baird cares for my two dogs and only suggests treatments that make sense and never anything unnecessary. You can tell Dr Baird is a veterinarian because he has a true passion for animals.

Dr. Baird is an awesome, old school vet. He has amazing compassion for animals. He is not a vet who recommends extreme measures for animals (surgery, etc.) but is all about making their lives comfortable and manageable. I have a dog who is almost 17 and suffering from dementia and his advice for melatonin has been a game changer for Frankie (and us!)

We just got our kittens neutered and they did a great job! Very good prices and good work. We don't go here for regular vet appointments but we will definitely continue getting any future pets spayed or neutered here.

Dr Baird is the best vet I've ever gone to, hands down. He is knowledgeable, compassionate and affordable. I've been bringing my cats and dog to him since the 00's. While out of MI for work I tried 3 other vets and none of them held a candle to the comprehensive care my babies get at Bloomfield Animal Hospital.

Took our new pup here after seeing the great reviews. Dr Baird is very sweet, didn't try to push any medication or anything extra on our dog. He got on the floor with our pup (cause he's a and not trained yet ) and was super sweet and checked on some things for me. Glad we found a new vet in our new neighborhood!

I had a bad experience with Dr Baird.I took my dog there with bloat. He would not let me put my dog down after it was recommended by my dogs breeder professor at MSU Veterinarian School. I then had to take my suffering dog to the Humane Society where they told me it was the right thing to do. It was hard enough to put my dog to sleep. When Dr Baird told me to let me dog have the costly surgery with no guarantee that he would get better, I was very upset!
I do not recommend this clinic!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Julie G.Bloomfield Hills, MI662Mar 3, 2017
I am so thankful to have found this place. Dr. Baird and his staff have created a warm and welcoming environment and are great with my cats. He explains things patiently and thoroughly and answers all of my questions. He doesn't push a bunch of expensive and unnecessary testing or treatment like some other vets I've tried in the area and uses wisdom gained from experience.
