Bluebird Cottage Wedding Venue and Event Center

Excellent venue close to town with a home style feel. So many different setup options both indoor and outdoor! We celebrated mom 60th surprise party here and it was amazing. Staff was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

We had our baby shower here and it was amazing and very accommodating. Lots of space! Would totally recommend for any type of party!

My mother passed away and I wanted to celebrate her life in a non traditional way. I found this beautiful cottage she would of absolutely loved. The owners were very nice and the venue was beautiful! Will be holding all of my big events here.

This cozy cottage cafe was such a slice of heaven for a southern style Sunday brunch vibe .
I had the vegan French toast with quinoa and my plus one had an omelette and opted for some of my quinoa too! It was way too much food and we were stuffed but everything was delicious!
The owner has such a fascinating story how she opened this place and continues to just go above and beyond to making each persons experience a memorable one.

I rented this venue for a surprise 50th birthday party for my wife. We had about 55 people, and in mid-February we were planning on everyone being inside. The weather cooperated that weekend, but at those moments when all were inside, it was more than adequate for everyone plus food, etc.. Sabrina was very easy to work with to plan, schedule & pay. The venue was perfect for our party.

Me and my husband got married here on a Monday and it's was great! The hosts was super wonderful and very helpful! Beautiful venue and very affordable for micro wedding that we had!
I can't imagine getting married else where!!! This venue was just perfect!

I'm finding it super hard to slam businesses during this weird "new normal" because after my visit I'd have normally given it 1 star. It took nearly TWO HOURS to get all the food out for my family of four. What made it worse was that my husband's food arrived a full 45 minutes before the last plate. Since we all eat together...everyone except the youngest had cold food.

I know this owner has gone through a lot and I feel for her. I've been here only twice - once after they just opened and then once three weeks ago. The first time was amazing! So cute and quaint and the food looked and tasted great.

This time....I didn't bother taking pics of burnt pancakes and overdone eggs. There's no amount of excuses that make up for that. No cook should ever send out a plate that they know is wrong. The young lady even said "it's a little toasty" staring at the burnt pancake.

While I'd love to say I'd be back....there's a lot of local places. I don't think I'll be back but wish her all the best.

After dropping our daughter at school, my husband wanted to try a new breakfast spot. He found this gem in McKinney. The cage looks like a cute country house with a great front patio (dog friendly!!!) :)
Service was fantastic, drinks were great, and foods were o so yummy! I had 3 crepes with strawberries, bacon, strawberry smoothie. My husband had pancakes and what he calls the best blended mocha he's ever had.
I'll definitely be back and refer this place to others!

This venue was perfect for my baby shower! They provide everything that you need, plus we all felt so comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. The communication and customer service was top tier! I highly recommend.

I held my baby girl's reception after her Baptism at the Bluebird Cottage. We had about 50 guests, with about 12 kids. The kids were able to run around and play in the enclosed yard while the adults ate/talked. The owner, Sabrina was SO helpful and responsive throughout the booking. She was even able to work with me on set up timing so that we could arrive to a perfectly set venue straight after the baptism itself. The neutral color scheme allows for any colors to be used in decor. When you book, you have access to tables, chairs, and the refrigerators, kitchen items (aside from stove/fryer). It's perfect for a wedding, reception, shower, or brunch themed party. We will absolutely use this venue again and AGAIN!
