We got on the waiting list for Bullfrogs & Butterflies months ago (July 2022), and as far as we knew everything was fine and we were set to start our newborn there mid-April. My wife called to confirm the start date for our son, and we were informed that a former employee had marked us as not interested so we were removed from the wait list. No notification of any sort was given for this, email, phone call, or voicemail.

They apologized and said don't worry, we would be put back on the waiting list. Specifically the end of the waiting list. We were told they might be able to get him in sometime in the fall. To abruptly have the planned childcare option yanked out from under us with no warning, and getting told that their idea of "making it right" is putting us at the end of the waiting list is ridiculous. On top of all that, we were told that their weekly rate had increased to $335/week for full time, from $235/week when we originally got on the waiting list in 2022.

Absolutely do not recommend working with Bullfrogs & Butterflies when they behave in such a fashion.

My kid started B&B since she was 2 year old. Their schedules are flexible, offering half days or full time. So we started two half days to see how did she like it. Due to the help with the teachers there, she got used to her class soon and she did not even cried or sad for the second week when I dropped her off.

Also another great signs is that she runs into her teachers' arms when I dropped off. And they organized and sanitize their toys daily. I feel I am right there with my kid through the camera and mobile app timely updates.

Our family is very lucky to have Bullfrog & Butterflies Daycare down the road from us! We moved recently from out of state and the teachers and administration were wonderful in transitioning our toddler to their school. All the changes can be tough on a little one, and they made it as easy as it could be for our son. Now, our son loves the school and talks about the fun activities and his nice teachers all the time! Our daughter will be starting there soon as well!

Our family had recently toured Bullfrogs & Butterflies. The women here were absolutely wonderful and kind. Unfortunately, the building seemed outdated and unclean. Cleanliness is one of our top 5 priorities and this placed lacked in this area. I've read all the reviews online and they were all 5 stars but when I asked people I've met they didn't recommend the location after touring and/or having children there. Great location and again, wonderful staff. I was a bit taken back when I asked if, once enrolled, we could have a copy of the curriculum and was simply told "no"

As a current employee who has been with the company for over 3 years, I can honestly say that I am very happy with where I am at. Before coming to B&B i worked for a center where myself and the other employees worked 10-12 hour days with no breaks and little to no guidance on how to better myself or any area involving the child care center. Coming to B&B, I have found myself feeling very appreciative of the support to grow and further my education in child care and development. I am employed by a company who provides an online training source at no cost to me in which i can obtain professional development hours required by state licensing, and provides professional development days that also contribute to my required hours for the year. In the field of child care, so much relys on ratios in the classroom and each day we are offered breaks, of which our goal is 1 hour, but occasionally will be 45 minutes due to staff calling in sick (it happens and we have health department guidelines that we must follow). In my eyes, the effort to give us the longest breaks possible is so important, they never want to cut our breaks short but there are times where we are left with no other option. Coffee and snacks are provided in our staff/family lounge for us to enjoy on our breaks. I also work with a group of driven co-workers with the same goal in mind, to have a positive impact on the growth and development of every child that comes into my care. In every place of employment, I feel that there will always be some issues to be worked out, however, I do not feel that there has ever been an issue left unresolved at B&B. Openness, honesty, and respect are all traits that are reciprocated when addressing an issue with those traits intact. The safety of the children is not a subject that is taken lightly - it is the most important part of our job as we are taking care of others' most prized possessions - and should the safety of the children be compromised, those things are handled in a timely and professional manner. I would recommend working for B&B if you are a hardworking, driven, respectful, fun-loving, compassionate, and mindful person.
