Cal-Line had the lowest quote and they removed a 50' Ash tree and trimmed 35' off another Ash tree in my front yard in about 3 hours.

I asked one of the workers if I could use the hole that the stump was removed from to plant another tree and he proceeded to dig with his hand into the hole. I was surprised that the hole was not superficial but rather about 24"-30" deep. They exceeded my expectations.

We'll use Alejandro and his crew in the future.

I do not have direct experience with their service, but the team did a large job not far from my house and left a huge mess in the middle of the street. After 5 days of contacting the owner, they finally came out to clean up the mess THEY left behind.

Requested they take down (to the ground) two trees: an old plum tree (that doesn't produce enjoyable fruit) infested with parasitic ivy, and an unhealthy persimmon that hadn't produced fruit in a few years and was in the way of other projects.

Work and cleanup was quick and high quality, fees were inexpensive.

Overall a very good result. I'm very happy.

Oak tee fell on a rainy Saturday blocking the street. They showed up in 24 minutes and gave me a quote. It was less than half the price of the other quote I got. I gave them the green light and they started work 40 minutes later. The road was clear in less than an hour and all clean and perfect in a couple hours, less than four hours from my first call. Couldn't be happier. Also very nice and professional.

Alex and team trimmed a few large palm trees for a neighbor so I enlisted them to prune our mature oak tree that was out of control. They were prompt, respectful, did an exceptional job on all trees and cleaned up the mess. Will use Cal-Line again in the future!

I had a large quantity of trees on the side of my house that needed to be heavily trimmed back and I got several quotes and the most reasonable quote was from this company. They did a great job and cleaned up thoroughly and I would definitely recommend them.

I needed to remove a dead tree from our yard that was right next to the property line. I obtained 4 quotes:
Company 1: $2200 (but I later found out are not insured)
Company 2: $2440 (needed access to my neighbor's yard and scheduling was 3-4 weeks out)
Company 3: $2250
Cal-Line: $1800

I made the mistake of giving the previous 2 quotes' details to Company 3, but after I let them know I was going with Cal-Line, they offered $1700. Cal-Line then matched at $1700.

Cal-Line came out the following week and did a fantastic job! Our job was pretty complicated and involved getting in a tight space between the fence and a decorative wall. All the tree pieces needed to be carefully lowered down by rope. The 3-person crew finished in about 2 hours and cleaned everything up. I am really impressed and would definitely use them again!

Similar to another complaint, they trimmed a neighbors tree and cleaned immediately underneath it and used a leaf blower to blow branches, leaves and seedling in a 30 foot area away from the their work area to the neighbors. I even pointed it out to the workers who dismissed me and called their number on the truck and he promised that the "landscapers" were coming tomorrow to clean it all up. Of course, no one came. Adding insult, they took an orange traffic cone we use to keep out garbage bins in place during the strong winds. Lazy and inept when it comes to doing a complete job.

I just had Cal-Line Tree Care out for the second time to trim a large Oak tree in my backyard. This is the second time I have used their services and once again they did an excellent job from start to finish. Alejandro, the owner is wonderful to work with - he quickly gets back to you, very knowledgeable and professional. His crew works quickly and efficiently. I've worked with a few other tree services and Cal-Line is by far the best and their pricing is competitive. We've done a lot of work on our house in the past few years and working with Alejandro and his company continues to be one of the best experiences.
