Cheap Trees

Put in a request through angi's list for tree removal. Got a call back and Scheduled an appointment for 10:30 a.m. estimate. The owner came at 8 a.m. when noone was home. Only reason I knew he was there was because he left a sign out front without permission and I checked my cameras. Three weeks later he arrived today at 7:15 in the morning and had a truck in my front lawn with trailer that was near My septic and left ruts 4 inches deep. I never authorized them to perform work nor did I ever receive an estimate. I went out front and told him and his guys to leave. He said he had texts and calls from me stating I said to do the work yet couldn't prove it. Watch out for this buisness. Very unprofessional and seems like they don't have insurance and are scammers. He stated i was trying to scam him and get money from him for damage he caused to my property. Call any other company or just cut the tree yourself before contacting them.

This tree services was to take down three trees in our yard. Granted, they did. The trees were a danger to our and our neighbor's property. The three men worked hard 8 hours to remove the trees. However, they left three big holes in the yard from where limbs fell, broke our garden wall in multiple places, broke all of my mature rose bushes, three mature hydrangea plants and left debris all over the yard, walked through our gardens dragging large limbs from the trees behind them and destroyed plants in their wake. Sawdust and broken branches all over the yard. They were to remove another limb from another tree, but Steve called from another job site and said he was not going to remove the limb. On top of that, my husband had to be the one to call to confirm appointments. I am not the least bit happy about their work.

Worst company ever! Do not hire this subpar company. They did shoddy work across the street, parked their vehicles in front of my mailbox and partially blocked my driveway! When I asked them to move their vehicles, one of the clowns screamed and cursed at me.

The company will send out a large team on the first day of the job, and on subsequent days only have one or two people doing the work which drags on as a result. They leave trucks / chipper running for as much as 8-10 hours filling the area with enough exhaust to give you a headache in the house and gag outside of the house. I would never hire this company.

Absolutely horrible!! The put a hole in my roof then tried to lie and say they didn't drop anything on our roof when me and my fiance were in the house and clearly heard and felt the house shake. The owner later admitted that his guys dropped something after my fiance got up on the roof himself and found the hole. Then they broke our front walk way into pieces with another tree that they let fall completely on our walkway. Not sure how they thought a couple hundred pounds maybe more wouldn't do any damage. They also completely tore up my front and back yard with their bobcat when removing the logs from the downed trees. My yard is still in shambles and they also left huge logs in our street. Worst service ever and very untrustworthy!

Cheap trees did an excellent job taking down 10+trees from my yard. Many of these trees were quite large and 2 were extremely close to the house. The men removed the trees with expertise and without any concern of damage for my property or my neighbors. And they did the work extremely fast. They lose a star for a few reasons: The owner is pretty vague in his scheduling of work. We had to call a few times for updates on when the work would begin. I saw a few comments about coming back for stump grinding. It took a few weeks but he did eventually come and grind our stumps. And while the guys did a supreme job on the trees, they did leave a bit of trash in the yard. Overall I would recommend them to anyone who needs trees cut down.

I got an estimate on trimming some dead branches from my trees.I had asked them to tell me when they were coming because I like to be there when work is done. They did not and came when I was not there. They finished the job and the owner came for payment. A few days later I went into my shed and saw that one of the limbs they cut had crashed through the roof of my shed. I called the owner back and he checked it out. He came back another day and said that he fired the guy that did that and that he had guy working with him who would come out and fix the roof and side of my shed which were destroyed. He said the guy was on vacation and he would have him out the following week. No one ever came out or contacted me and the business is not returning my calls.

They gave a great price and did a really good job. They took down two trees and trimed one. Would highly recommend.

They did what they said they would do - "took trees down", BUT did a lot of collateral damage to everything around those trees. Clean up has been expensive! They gave us a range of dates but then just "showed up" one day without notice when we were leaving for work. While we were gone - trees crashed through our children's play set sliding board, lattice fencing, garden trampled, and very large lawn ruts where they let the large trees "just fall to the ground". BUYER BEWARE - the company name says it all!!!

I would not hire "Cheap Trees LLC" out of Williamtown, NJ ever again. This is just my review of the company and own experience with them. It took them almost 1 and half months to complete the job they gave me a quote for and at the time of the quote they told me it was a 1 day job! It acutally took them 1 full day plus parts of 2 other days over that course of 1 and half months. Their excuse was "the weather" i guess it rained 42 out 45 days, i didnt see all the rain. They left coffee cups all over my yard along with cigarette butts that i had to pick up. Not once did they ever call me to say they were coming, they just showed up or i had to call them to find out what was going on. So once final payment was due, i tried to talk to the owner to see if we could come to a new price on the final payment and maybe reduce my cost slightly for all the inconvience and basically he told me it is what it is pay up. He was very rude about it. So thats my review take it as you please but i would never hire them again!!!!
