      1. 3 different Initial forms ask for your occupation. Why? Before you even go into a consultation, they want to know too much irrelevant personal information.

      2. The 4 front desk clerks, in scrubs, give convoluted answers to simple questions, as they're only task is to get you to fill out 11 forms, which only 2 are 1/2 medically based, and the remaining are reconfigured and duplicated for a marketing firm to receive.

      3. It's not mentioned that your eyes will be dilated with a "solution" and the clerks just responded with medical advise of just wearing a pair of sunglasses to drive, when the form says to have someone drive you. I didn't know clerks in scrubs were licensed doctors to give advise also, as they hand you a pen to sign away and get you in a room ASAP!?

      "Professional" is the best way to describe everything about this office.

      Front desk always greets me with a smile and kind word, and their check-in kiosks are super convenient.

      I can tell they see a lot of patients, but it never feels that way. Never have much of a wait (not like at other doctor offices) which I appreciate. I tend to be a question-asker, especially with medical things. And when meeting with the doctors, they don't seem rushed or like they don't have time for me and my questions.

      All in all, I wish more doctors offices were like this. Efficient, helpful and makes me really feel like they're focused on my best interests. Highly recommend.

      DISSAPOINTED but GRATEFUL FOR HONESTY

      I went in for a consultation and was told I should wait a couple more years before having corrective surgery because there are some procedures/products on the horizon that would be a good fit for me if I just wait. Way to go Chu Vision! They are in this for the long haul and want happy customers!! I'll be back when the time is right!!!

      My elderly mother needed a cataract removed. She had seen the TV commercials and was interested. I called the office for information. They were all friendly until I shared my mother would need some assistance if she needed to climb up on a table. I was put on hold, then the person came back on and told me, with a definite change in tone, that unless my mother could completely get on the table they use for procedures by herself they would not be able to see her. So...be aware if you have any ambulatory issues (or it seems just need a hand to steady yourself) you won't be welcome here. Seems a bit counterintuitive to me, as the population who often has cataracts, etc., is older and more likely to need a helping hand.

      My eyes have never been worth a shit after visiting these clowns, been back a few times, they cannot and will not accept any responsibility. I was much better off before ever trusting them

      I'm so impressed with Chu Vision!! Everything inside is totally sanitized and they have a state of the art filtration system. I have never felt safer! It's so clean, you could eat off the floor.

      The entire staff is incredible! Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and professional. I have been going to Chu Vision for the past 10 years and I will never go anywhere else. Thank you for your wonderful service!!

      Wonderful practitioners. Had a great exam performed by the nurses and the ophthalmologist. Super friendly and competent. Would have given 5 stars except for my experience with the billing department.
      Prior to my appointment I did my due diligence with my insurance company who assured me my entire visit would be covered due to the medical nature of my visit. I then received a bill for 100 bucks from Chu Vision. No big deal, But why spend 100 dollars when I was told my visit would be covered?

      So, I called and asked the woman in billing to resubmit my claim. The lady actually argued with me about it, and told me resubmitting it wouldn't be successful. I had to ask her multiple times (3 to be exact) and had to be very firm about it before she finally agreed to do so- albeit unpleasantly.
      Is it really that big of a deal? Isn't that her job?

      Well, guess who actually owed ME money in the end? I just received a check from Chu vision, and even though the check was only for $10.00, they almost made me pay $100.00 unnecessarily. Very different result. Left me feeling like I wasn't important, and left me questioning if they pay for their fancy office by doing this often?

      I never write reviews, but I have to share my amazing experience at Chu Vision. Everything was smooth and efficient from start to finish. I had my LASIK consultation on a Friday and was scheduled for surgery the following Wednesday! Dr. Chu and all the staff were incredibly kind and informative - I always knew what was happening every step of the way. I can't believe I had 20/20 vision and was able to drive and go to work the day after surgery! After waiting years for my vision to stabilize so I could pursue LASIK, I'm ecstatic that I finally took the plunge and chose Chu Vision to do so!

      I recently visited the Chu clinic as my eye sight seemed to be getting worse and after being seen at Vision Works and another place which I care to forget the name, I was so pleasantly surprised. From the first step in the door to all my tests, the Dr. visit and back out the door, I was treated like a person and not a number. Thank you for your care, diagnosis, and your pleasant atmosphere. I will be coming back as they referred me to retinol specialist. I can not thank you enough. Keep up the good work you all do from the receptionist, to the xray tech., to the Dr. You make it easy to come to the Dr.

      Took my elderly mother to Dr. Chu for cataracts. After the surgery, Mom could not see! I called him and could not get him on the phone. I talked with one of his associate docs, and she didn't even know what to say to me. I told her that the eye issues were totally wrecking her life. Once we got mom back in - we found he had screwed up the correction lenses ...he said because she had done Lasik surgery years prior. (Who hasn't had Lasik? So - all of his Lasik patients need to worry now when they get cataracts?!) His solution was to "Piggy Back" another lense on top of the wrong one. I was not happy about this - but he said it was common. He said that removing his "mistake" lense was a risk. Mom then developed issues with cloudiness developing between the two lenses and she couldn't see. We called and called, and my dad even went to the office to plead with someone to help. Dr. Chu would not see my dad, and did not return any calls!! What kind of a doctor acts like this??? We took her to another practitioner, and it was a SIMPLE fix to just zap the lense with a laser and that totally cleared it off. Still, the other doc was unimpressed with the piggy back lense solution and removed the TWO incorrect lenses and fixed her eyes. I would RUN the other direction. I see this guy on TV and I just cringe!!!
