Fantastic dentist, staff, and entire operation.

I like to write negative reviews when it's deserved: check my profile, it's kind of a hobby. But Dr. Ha's business and people are so great I geeked out with her a bit, asking what kind of franchise it is because everything was more professional than I've ever experienced: The detailed intake conversation, how they do a cleaning where I don't have to spit. :-P The tv screens on the wall and ceiling, glasses to block out the blinding lights, noise cancelling headphones (fantastic idea), etc.

And I learned that it's not a franchise, but that she designed the business and setup herself. Pretty amazing.

I saw the one negative review here which asserted that these positive ones must all be fake. So that motivated me to write my own.

I would be wary of the high review average at Clear, which feels more like an office full of salespeople who have a background in dentistry, as opposed to the other way around. It's a new space so it feels modern and immaculately clean. The staff is kind, but can feel more procedural and robotic than down to earth and personable.

I don't have insurance so I always try to get an affordable cash price. On my first visit, I got X-rays and an exam and was convinced to get their one year plan as well as a two part deep cleaning, with a follow up clean a couple months later, since apparently a regular cleaning just wouldn't do with my mouth. Doing the math, I saved a little money on their plan vs paying for each service a la carte, but it was still super expensive. I had one deep clean before so I figured I could benefit from another for my gum health. I wasn't very numb at first so they checked on me and added some more. It went pretty smoothly and was only sore for the rest of the day.

I ran into some financial hardships and had to put off dental care for a year. When I tried to schedule a cleaning and explained I could only afford a basic cleaning at the moment, the main doctor transferred me to someone else who tried to sell me on another super deluxe mega care plan. I reiterated that I could only afford a basic cleaning at this time. I was then told I needed new X-rays and an exam on top of a cleananing. I was tired of the upsell pitches and knew more would inevitably be fired my way had I gone through with an office visit so I decided to cancel and find a new dentist.

In the end, I felt awkward in the chair, constantly felt pushed into more expensive services, and found out later their deep clean was probably not necessary. The care I received was adequate, but even though going to the dentist is rarely fun, this crew was just not my vibe. My advice: get to know patients on a more personal level and understand what they can and can't afford before being so pushy with the upsells, otherwise it will drive more patients away than just myself.

Dr Ha is a very caring dentist who makes booking extremely easy as well. She has friendly staff and they're all very kind. She definitely chooses the best staff who listens to patients needs. I highly recommend Clear for anyone looking for a new dentist!

I do not recommend going to this dentist. I went a few weeks ago for a regular exam and cleaning. At first, I had to call my insurance to verify my coverage as Clear Dental Studio claimed I only had pediatric coverage on my insurance, which upon ME having to call, wasn't the case at all (I'm an adult). Once that got sorted out (and me spending 30 minutes on hold with my insurance for something the Dental Studio should have figured out), the dental studio guaranteed that my cleaning and exam would be fully covered by my insurance. I specifically asked the same question again, and they once again guaranteed me that I would not have any out of pocket cost for my visit. Fast forward to today, I get a notification that I have a bill for $158 due for a simple exam and cleaning when I have insurance. Don't trust the prices they quote you, because they will end up billing you after the fact. In addition, during my cleaning, the dental technician asked if I wanted fluoride. I specifically said that I only want to do it if it is 100% covered by my insurance. They left to check my insurance, came back, and told me that it was covered fully, and that I would not have an out of pocket cost. Well guess what, my insurance only covered a small percentage and I had to pay for Fluoride that I didn't even need/want. Once again, don't believe whatever price they quote you. They're supposed to be the experts who I trusted, but unfortunately that is not the case.

On top of it all, they had me answer questions during my first visit about what's important to me when it comes to a dentist, and what I dislike. I specifically said that I've dealt with billing issues in the past, and that I did not want to deal with that again. Clearly, they don't take these surveys into consideration whatsoever.

The staff was nice and the interior is clean, but the service wasn't the best. My cleaning that I had done was perfectly fine. But when it came to my filling and billing, this is where I ran into issues. My filling was unpleasant. They didn't numb me in the right area (and didn't check to make sure) so I felt all the drilling to start. They numbed me more, then decided that they should check my gums (to see if they're numb) prior to drilling. The filling ended up being very rough and uneven. It's now hard to floss by that tooth because it gets caught on the filling.
For my cleaning, I was charged because they only had one insurance plan on file instead of two. I asked prior to paying if BOTH of my plans we're on there and they said yes. I called my insurance later that day to asked if I should have been charged and they said no - everything should have been completely covered. When I came back for my filling, I ended up being charged again because they weren't saving my insurance to my file. I ended up running into the same issue as the first round even though they were aware of what happened before! I wouldn't recommend this dental studio.

Phenomenal dental experience! Modern, clean, and friendly environment with superb service! Dr. Ha is very compassionate and professional! I love coming here! 10/10 recommend!

One year after I went through this procedure, the crown that Clear Dental provided me has not only been painful, but has several fractures and a hole. It has to be completely replaced. The $1k paid to Clear Dental, with the mental anguish, severe pain and now the extremely premature degradation... Not worth it. These things impact people's ability to work and enjoy life. Shame on you.

VERRRY clean, and professional. Although I sometimes find the frequent communications a bit tedious, I do understand that it is necessary AND since DR. HA and staff are badasses (like, for real!), I'll deal with it.

I normally don't write reviews for anything but I wanted to share my experience with everyone. This place is so awesome, I don't even know where to begin. This place is clean and they truly care for the safety of their patients. They are very thorough from start to finish. They explain everything to you, Dr. Ha and her team is amazing. I truly appropriate them taking their time to really get to know their patients. If you need a dentist and a staff that cares look no more, this place is the place to go to. I will not go any where else, I'm sold!! Thank you guys for such an amazing experience!

I can not say enough about Clear Dental Studio and all their staff! I absolutely HATE the dentist and I not only felt heard about my fear and anxiety, but I also was offered solutions to make my experience more
comfortable. My plan of care was thoroughly explained to me and the care that was given was better than I've ever had at any other dentist. I HIGHLY recommend Clear Dental to anyone looking for quality dental treatment, in a beautiful setting, by thoughtful individuals. Thanks Clear Dental! For the first time in my life, I'm not scared for my next dentist appointment!
