I like Dr. Colby himself but they are a very disjointed staff. They've lost X-rays, they will constantly cancel appointments at the last minute or they will ask you to come in 1 to 3 hours earlier than your scheduled appointment.

I've had a few teeth that needed root canals but since they don't do that, they will try to fill it first to ensure they make max profit of your teeth.

This doctors office would have received 5 stars from me if it were not for my second and last encounter here! I'll admit Dr. Colby is great and his hygienists have been nothing but amazing to work with and speak to while they are working on your teeth. My problem is the front desk receptionist Andrea. I recently went in for some fillings and while exiting was told my balance. News to me since I have a new dental health plan and my old one covered everything. She told me the balance of my visit that insurance did not cover which was around $300 and I asked her to clarify that I was the one who had to pay that amount. She responds with "Yes nothing is free, you have to pay for your services when you receive them. So...we close at 8pm if you want to go get your wallet and come back to pay." I quickly asked to speak to someone else because her words were rude, condescending, and completely uncalled for. The office manager came to talk to me but by that point I was so livid I told her that I would get my wallet and pay but never come back. I have never in my life been spoken to the way that woman spoke to me and unless she gets fired or quits I'll never go back.

Update: I requested a call from the doctor about the service I received. Sue the office manager promised I would get one. It's now been3 weeks -__-

I have been seeing Dr. Colby since 2013. He and his staff are amazing. They are great people who enjoy having a great time with their patients. The facility is very clean, the staff is very personable and the Dr always ensures that the right thing is done. During procedure he and his staff always ask constantly to ensure your comfort. I would highly recommend Dr. Colby to anyone else who needs a dentist.

At least the furnishings are nice.

Whoever the front girl is seems to have an attitude. She seems like she hates people. When I was doing my payment with another girl, she jumped on our conversation and shouted "blah blah blah" butting in on me and the girl talking about setting up a new appointment. I told the bitchy front girl "I wasn't asking about that" Really the less you have to deal with her, the better. I don't know her name but she's not a people person.

I went somewhere else to have a tooth removed and they couldn't even tell the guy the right tooth over the phone, turns out they told them the wrong tooth #. So I didn't have it done. But the tooth decayed more and i could then tell the right one visually.

I switched dentists. They didn't even care that i was leaving.

To Colby Dental might be OK but you are just a number to them. To sum it up I'd say they are indifferent to their customers but at least the furnishings are nice. Bye Colby.

If I could give 0 stars, you bet I would. First, I paid about $300 to have 4 wisdom teeth removed, so I went in telling them I would have 2 wisdom teeth extracted on 2/10/15 and the other 2 done in a few weeks just so I could make it to work. After the 2 were pulled they did not stitch any of the holes, and left it wide open and bleeding profusely. It stopped bleeding 2 days later, but the pain and swelling was still present, and keep in mind I was taking my medication, Tylenol 3s and antibiotics, because that's all they will prescribe you. It doesn't matter if you're crying in pain, they don't care. I had to miss 2 days of work due to the discomfort and swelling. So a week later the pain started to come down, but I was getting a lot of food stuck in my tooth holes, and there was a smelly odor coming from my mouth so i called so the dentist can take a look and irrigate it, that's all I went in for and he said there was debris stuck so he clears it out and then he said "I'm going to put a paste in your tooth, keep it in your mouth for 45 minutes", keep in mind that I did not ask for this paste. I went on my way after that, not knowing what kind of paste that was in my mouth. This was my first post operation visit. The next day this brown paste after I woke up, the brown paste was hanging out of my bottom hole, so I got it out with saltwater. I then called to see if it was normal, they said yes. I proceeded to ask if they can please give me a cleaning kit or oral syringe to clean out my open holes, since every real dentist does that, and they told me they don't give out any kind of cleaning kit and that I can not buy one anywhere. after I hung up, I went into CVS and got 4 oral syringes for free, so I can clean out the food that kept getting stuck. a few days passed and I wanted to go back into the office so they could clean it good and make sure I was healing okay (sue was the lady I was talking to) and she said I already came in for a post op visit, and the second one would cost me $40 per extraction site to look at. a total of $80 just to look in my mouth for a minute. I hung up before I went off on them. now yesterday my mother called to explain I've had a headache for the past 4 days, and they said I could come in as it would be a regular office visit which would cost me and my insurance. we said no, it should be covered for post operative care, and we told them that we were coming in to get reimbursed for the other 2 wisdom teeth that we payed for already, because I was never going back there. my mom goes in and they tell her there is no money to give back because the first time I went in for post op care they used the money that we paid already paid for my other 2 wisdom teeth. they said they used the money to irrigate it, and for a dry socket treatment. so they used our hard earned money without us knowing, and I know the first post operation visit was supposed to be free. I never agreed for them to use that money, and they never told me or anyone. I never agreed on a dry socket treatment, all I did was go in there to irrigate it. they did NOT mention they were doing any kind of treatment when I went in, so they took our money that was for my other 2 wisdom teeth without us knowing. these people are shady, and I'm sure I'm leaving out key details but this review is too long already. Colby dental is shady, and will screw you without you knowing.

I am a very fearful patient and explained this upfront. Went for 2 fillings and had nitrous and while waiting for the nitrous to take effect, I had the pleasure of listening to his assistants, one of which was in training, giggle and chat about Facebook. That did not help my anxiety as I was trying to relax. Ended up I needed a root canal, and when I asked him if he was going to fill the other tooth, he said no and when I asked why his response was "because I'm the doctor and I say so". He also called me Maam, while I was in his chair. He does not have the ability, skill or compassion to deal with fearful patients and as a matter of fact made me feel silly for be so scarred.
