Condado Tacos

If you are craving for authentic tacos, this is not the place. But if you want westernized Mexican food, this is the spot that serves a variety of selections from tacos to bowls.

I tried some of the suggested tacos including the Baja shrimp, southwest midwest, sweet heat, and orange glaze. For some reason the flavors don't really go together that well. The salsas are too sweet and lack acidity at times, which threw off the cohesiveness of a taco.

The rice that comes with the Baja shrimp taco is mixed with some sunflower seeds which makes the texture and flavors a bit weird. I also didn't care for the jicama slaw as it didn't add much to the taste. The shrimp was meant to be Baja seasoned but I didn't really catch the marinade.

The sweet heat is a beef brisket taco. The salsa was too runny that the taco became soggy. Also the pineapple salsa and the cheddar cheese was a weird combination and didn't go well together.

Those were some of the immediate thoughts I had of these tacos I tried. I think if the flour tortilla is toasted or grilled, the tacos won't get as soggy. They do have build your own tacos which may be a better option.

Wild wall artwork, great drinks and food. I got 2 of the plant based tacos. Loved both. Both spicy but so good. Not dry, honestly I can't remember what was in there but I think one was mushrooms.

The sweet drop drink: I could have had 2, I ordered 2 but could only finish 1-1/2 and it kicked in.

Fun place, fast service, cool shopping mall.

Pretty solid spot with lots of options, reasonable prices, kind staff, and fun ambiance. Plus children friendly with a changing table in the bathroom! Our food was good and frankly it's quite filling with the two taco combo inclusive of chips and a dip. Guac was good, elotes were good, smoked Queso was outstanding. Service was fine however there were a few errors with the meal- still good though and will be back!

Had a decent time at condado. I got the rainbow chard queso with chips and that was delicious! The chips were just okay, seemed a little oily.

I also got the rango tango taco which was amazing. I had another poblano taco that was okay, nothing special though.

The space was nice and had a chill vibe to it, was definitely louder with families, seemed like a good place to hang out!

I really wanted to give a glowing review for this place, however, the service was HORRIBLE!
I came here with a friend and loved the trendy vibe and menu options. Honestly, I even loved the food. The issue was 100% the staff. We had a waitress take our drink order, then never came back. We flagged someone down, who then found us someone to take our food order. They took our order, then never came back. We received our food from someone else, but then they never came back. We flagged someone down to bring our check, who then had to find us someone to get our check. I mean... by the time we left, we interacted with at least 7 personnel. It'd be one thing if this restaurant was self serve, but that wasn't the case. Such poor service... total bummer!

Just left after a first visitation... and I ABSOLUTELY am a fan of the Mexican corn salsa. It was mistakenly on my platter and uhhhh, THANX FOR THE MISHAP!

Outside of that, the ambience is nice... not crazy about the margaritas but hey, if I start into that, some would say I'm just being persnickety. *LOL*

The waitress was nice, as well!

We came here on a Friday night and were surprisingly able to get a table right away. I've been to other Condado restaurants before so I knew what to expect, but this was our first time at this location.
It's a huge building and voices echoed so it was LOUD! Not a dealbreaker by any means, but definitely something to be aware of. I noticed the prices had increased since the last time we were here, and the margaritas were definitely more expensive than before.
We got build-your-own nachos which were delicious, and we each got a taco from the pre-built menu. The service was just okay (hence the 4 stars) and the food took quite a while to come out. Other than that, we had a good experience!

Overpriced tacos, but the build your own nachos was pretty value. This place is definitely a vibe for a nice saturday lunch with your friends. Our waiter was very nice, gave us an extra bag of chips to go.

First time for us to eat at this restaurant and no doubt, the last. We were seated by a man who was not very welcoming and seemed annoyed that we did not want to sit at a "high top". Our server was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant itself was very loud but had interesting, colorful artwork. We enjoyed the "3 Buds" dips and nachos, although nachos were not warm and were very thick. Our tacos were cold to Luke warm, almost as though they had been made ahead and refrigerated??‍. Overall, not a very good dining experience, especially for what it cost. We have given up on finding excellent Mexican food in NE Ohio as it is seems to be all alike and not that great, this place included.

I would like to give a shout out to Hoagie, my server (hopefully that's how you spell his name). He has such a beautiful aura, and a special light to him. He was a so accommodating, always asked if we needed anything, and made sure our drinks were always filled. Hoagie deserves a raise and everything he wants/deserves in life. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Hoagie:)
