Cool Vybz Jamaican Restaurant

I usually rock with this place, half of the time they do not disappoint. However, they do have some horrible customer service. Walked in the shop, acknowledged by two employees, yet no one came to the counter to take my order. I waiting for at least 8-10 mins before I left.

Came here on a whim at 6 pm. Because the food is so fresh a lot was sold out but they made oxtail for us to order in a pressure cooker. It was so flavorful and tender. Loved the ginger in it. Worth the wait. The jerk chicken was fantastic too. We got complimentary dirty rice too. Everyone's super friendly and great old school reggae playing the entire time. Thanks for a great meal!!

I've gone here twice the food is amazing!!! However the staff was not so much. I don't care for people looking at me speaking in another language this can make customers very uncomfortable..... Wish you all the best and much success. I won't return I will takey elsewhere get my Jamaican fix a few miles up the road.

The food was nasty, i ordered the fry chicken and rice and peas. Complete waste of money it actually tasted nasty, wasn't tasting so authentic!!!

Bruddah, the fish is 'off the chain'! I ordered the fish dinner and a oxtail dinner - I initially went for some akai and swordfish, but that has to be special ordered when their monthly fish fry.
I have compared then with 3 Jamaican restaurants in Phoenix, and so far they are still the top runner-up! They even put some of the 'good & hot' Jamaican peppers on their rice & peas! Excellent service, overstanding cooks, and beautiful customer service!
One drawback - they are closed on Sunday's!

I always stick with the Oxtails very delicious! My man likes the jerk chicken but to me it's sweet.

Had some curry chicken and side of jerk chicken. Was the best Jamaican food I've had since I've moved to Arizona 5 years ago.

One of the hardest things about quarantine has been the inability to travel freely. Their beef patties are flaky, very much like I get usually in Miami. They were super quick and delicious. Looking at all the other jamaican options in the west valley this one looked spot on and really delivered! Used the order now button and showed up 15 mins later and they were ready to go. Very friendly service. Bomb brown stew. Plantains on point. Really no complaints. New go to jamaican spot for sure.
