I really wanted to love my experience. I really did. The salon was clean and inviting, and they were nice when I walked in and asked if I could come back in 30 minutes which I appreciated. They treated that like an appointment so when I returned I was taken right away.

I was visiting for a pedi and a mani. They have several options for each and the prices were fair. They use a liner for the tub which is a must. I asked that my big toenails be left a little long because they are starting to get ingrown. I also asked that they would be cut straight across. He cut them shorter than I wanted and they are rounded. I pray I don't have any problems when they grow. Otherwise it was a nice pedi, but I'm not happy with my big toenails.

I just wanted a simple mani with no color. I have short nails and they break and peel so I just like them shapes and cuticles trimmed. I'm always treated oddly when I get a mani with no polish. I don't think my guy does a lot of manicures because he cut me several times and my nails are filed all ragged. Maybe it's my nails because they are thin but they are ragged. And my one cuticle is bleeding pretty bad and it's been an hour since I was there.

I don't get my nails done often and I'm not sure I'd be back. Like I said initially, I really wanted to like this nail salon. Because they were so nice and the place was clean and used tub liners I might give another chance. But I will be more clear about how I want my toenails trimmed.

I've only been here one time and I won't be going back. I waited for 30 minutes before being seen - all they would tell me was they would be right with me and I was next.
The manicure didn't include any cuticle work. I got dip polish and within a week it's chipped in multiple places. I've been getting dip for many years at another salon near by, but they were too busy the day I was available, and I've never had this issue before. Awful experience. Won't return.

I went here before my SIL's wedding and have been going back since. I have always had a good experience here. My nails last for WEEKS without chipping, peeling up at the sides or cracking. I work as a nurse, so for my nails to last that long, that's impressive! Pricing is comparable to anywhere else in town. I will drive from a different suburb of Columbus just to come to Crystal Nails.

Nothing worse for me than to waste time repeating a service that should have been done right the first time. When I left after a lack luster gel manicure in which the water was cold from the tap, no pushing the cuticles back but literally hacked and pulled my cuticles off, I noticed the top coat made the polish a different color, almost yellow orange. Unusual but whatever except the discoloration didn't cover the entire polish surface leaving streaky ombre like finish. I stopped back a few days later (the soonest I could manage because I work) and showed the receptionist what happened. She could clearly see something wasn't right and made an appointment for me the same day. I drive back later arriving a few minutes early and am seated at a different tech's chair. The new tech was not happy to fix anoth tech's work but it happens sometimes. She tells me "no you must wait 45 min for original tech" and she will fix for "free" (I paid the first time, so this isn't free, not to mention my time and inconvienence) I politely said I wasn't interested in the old tech and would prefer to proceed with new tech. I only need 1 coat of color over the yellow whatever it was...maybe 5 min work. Was told again "no that to be "free" I had to wait 45 min for original tech" end of story. I just left...couldn't waste more time on this ratchet experience. F- on customer service with a double FF- for the lack of basic skills.

I love this place, staff is so nice. It's so relaxing and such a great time. Prices are. It that bad. I will continue to go to this location even if I live 30 minutes away. No stress great for me time and the staff is not only nice but very professional. I enjoy coming in. I don't know what the negative reviews on here were about, but sometimes you just have to try it yourself. I get pedicures here love it.

I got my nails balanced here for the first time with my friend- I came in to have them taken off and gel put on the owner convinced me he would make them look great and keep them. After a week and a half they were all lifting which is due to poor drilling technique and lack of using the primer polish before you apply the acrylic powder. I came in and explained this and was told I'm due for a balance anyway (they should last 2-3 weeks for me at least I have never had to get my nails done 3 times a month until now. He told me he was busy to come back in 6 hours I would have been satisfied ic he just fixed the three nails that were loose. He said he was too busy I needed to make an apt and come back for a full balance WITH HIM, at full price. I told him there is no way I'm paying him another $70 and it was ridiculous, never swore once. He got irate took off his mask told me I can not talk to him like that and proceeded to get his phone and take pictures of me, I have no idea why. I've never been treated like this. My girlfriends nails look great no lifting she normally is with one of the females that sits by the sink. But they will never have our business again. So unprofessional and the worst job anyone has done on my nails.

I am moving my original review of Nail Studio to this place because they moved across the street and changed their name, but it's the same place:

I went here for a full pink and white set, not even 2 weeks ago. I usually go 3 weeks in between balances when I am getting nails done. A week in, they starting lifting from the back, giving a HUGE POTENTIAL for fungus. I told them I wanted them to take them off no charge, as I don't want a fungus to grow. She said 20.00 to remove them and offered to balance them. Not on your life would I let these people touch my nails ever again. She claimed they needed balanced, but a balance is when they grow out, not lift from the back. I haven't ever had this happen. Go to La Vie nails by Jommy Johns. I showed them my nails. They couldn't believe this was a new set and didn't charge me to take them off. They just earned my business. It's just as close and their quality is much better (I know people who have been going there for awhile) SAVE YOUR MONEY FROM Crystal Nail Spa.

Do not go here. I got toe fungus from this place.

I will start by saying customer service wise, the people here are very nice.

Now I will get to the facts. They do not use top coats of polish on the pedicures. I didn't realize that his until I got home and my dried nails looked dull. That is not all. My polish lasted on my toe nails. But when I took off my polish I had what looked like chipped up toe nails. And white spots underneath. I thought maybe she filed my nails down too far. After a few months of no change I went to my podiatrist and he informed me that it was in fact TOE FUNGUS! This place moves around and calls itself having new re-openings and tries to rebrand itself. But the facts are that they don't use clean tools. You do not want to go here no matter what they call themselves or where they move to.

I hate to write this but I feel that I must write in as a cautionary tale to future customers.

A few days ago I removed my acrylics due to a few of them coming off on their own already and, to my surprise, many of my real nail beds were tinted green. I had gotten my full set during the height of high school homecoming season and I can only assume that bacteria from the many customers had tainted the supplies used throughout the week.

Bacteria such as this is only able to permeate spread when propper disinfecting of the tools is not carried out in between each customer serviced.

I have mixed feelings about this situation because I know how difficult it is to maintain a steady flow of business during these peak times, however, sometimes it is very worth it to make customers wait a while longer for a better and healthier result.

For this reason, I will not be going back to this salon again and would advise future customers to request to watch the tools be disinfected before they are used on them. Sure, it seems a little bossy, but sometimes being a stickler is worthwhile.

Always give me exactly what I ask for and are super friendly! Out of all the nail salons I've tried this is the inky one I've continued to go back to regularly. I've had multiple technicians and love them all!
