Dimension Pools and Outdoor Living

We've had the pool for a year and a half now. Everything has held up and is still looking great. We've had 2 rust spots that have popped up on our coping from hairline cracks. We have a saltwater pool and as you know, does not play well with the metal rebar. Both times they have come out fast, with no fuss and fixed it. The spots they have fixed have not been any issue afterwards. Our pool Project Manager was knowlegable and straight to the point, which I appreciate. Joe the owner is friendly and has always answered my questions, and believe me when I say I've had many.

In a quick wrap up, you will have the delays and rescheduling but that is just how the world works now. We are very happy with our pool and have no regrets from start to finish!

It started out great, but is now terribly disappointing. Pool build itself was pretty simple and hats off to Dimension for their patience while we waited on items from our house remodel to be completed. Early on, I felt the project management from our project manager and from the office was solid - good communication and prompt responses. This project dragged out longer than it should have, due to no fault of Dimension, but as soon as water went in the pool, they've sorta sucked and that's all on them. So here goes with everything that was (and is) terrible:

We built a fairly simple pool with a small tanning shelf. How deep will the shelf be, I asked? 9 inches, was the response. How deep is it *actually*? 6. 6 is not 9 and while this is a relatively minor deal, and is one I wouldn't bother to mention if everything else was good, it does point to a lack of attention to detail.

PebbleSheen was installed and it didn't appear to be very even to me. I asked about it prior to water going in. "oh, don't worry, it will work itself out" was the response. Surprise...didn't work itself out. Blotchy pebble in corners and especially the deep end. Don't even try to tell me it was because we needed to brush more. We brushed the sh*t outta that.

Three times (before pebble went in) accumulated water needed to be pumped out of the pool , and three times these guys pumped the water into my neighbor's yard (just threw the hose over the fence), washing bits of their landscape away and making a mess. I can forgive this happening once, but three times is just plain sloppy (see above comment re: lack of attention to detail).

"Pool school" was really terrible... the guy who delivered that to us was (is) super nice, but the information delivered was incomplete and honestly, not very robust. You're better off on YouTube.

I've submitted two warranty repair forms for cracked grout and sinking coping. No response. Nothing. NOTHING other than our pool school guy, who is somewhat responsive to my texts, saying "they'll be in touch". My first submission was more than 6 weeks ago. Crickets. Also, who is "they"? "They" don't seem to be home.

This crap experience may be an anomaly, but boy... I would keep looking if I were you. It does not appear that they give a whit about this build (too small potatoes? what?), nor do they seem committed to standing behind their work in any real way. Our pool has had water in it for 6 months.

#Fail

Poor quality work, won't honor warranty.They completed install Feb 22 for previous owner, we bought home in July 22, found issues, cracks, water pooling, mold. Owner Blake inspected, told me they would repair, blew me off for months, then told me to pound sand and warranty did not transfer. 200K install. Arrogant and disrespectful. Go elsewhere.

We can't recommend Dimension enough. My wife and I have always wanted a pool and the team at Dimension helped facilitate our dream into a reality. They patiently walked us through the design and subsequent redesigns and made sure we were comfortable with our choices before construction began. Joe and Blake were wonderful at the beginning of the project as we went through the administrative portion of the process and once construction began, Buddy joined in as our Project Manager. Buddy was on site during every phase of construction to make sure the jobs were done right and he came out to our house countless times to answer questions, reassure us, and to make sure we were satisfied customers. Buddy even came out to make sure our propane tank was properly attached to our heater even though the tank was delivered almost 6 months after the pool was completed. Everyone at Dimension has our heartfelt thanks and if you want the pool of your dreams, this is the company you want. Our pool has become a hub of our social circle and the envy of all our friends as they constantly compare it to pools at luxury hotels. Thank you Joe, Blake, Buddy and the rest of the team, y'all are awesome and we will be calling if we ever decide to build another pool.

We had the best experience with Dimension Pools! We felt the best service with various design options in our budget and trustworthy updates throughout the process. We chose pool equipment like UV/O3 and have seen the cleanest pool water and least pool chemicals needed in my opinion. They gave us all resources and contacts needed to maintain our pool as well since we are first time pool owners.

No matter what stage of the process, Dimension Pools was there each step of the way. From design and layout to all the final steps at the end, I never felt pressured or like I wasn't being heard. I was extremely impressed and couldn't have asked for a better experience.

So you say you want a pool? Well so did I.........

And that is not what I got. Instead what I was left with was an oasis that is straight out of the Texas hill country. My wife and I had a very simple design and idea of what we wanted. We wanted our pool to represent the memories we created visiting the great swimming holes in the hill country. Simple yet reflective of the environment. Joe Ribble and Blake Olson met with us and we quickly knew that this was the company for us. They are local to my neighborhood and I knew that community was an important part of their business. While I thought this would just be the case for the neighborhood clients it quickly became apparent that it was much further reaching. Wherever they set foot becomes their community and they work hard to establish the necessary relationships to help make the project a success.

As we were ready to start we were told that it would be about a 60 day build process. From conversations I had with others who had built pools this seemed a little quick and I was nervous that we would find ourselves in delays and not hitting that expectation. I won't go into the step by step times for each phase and can only address the permitting process for my home but I can tell you that on day 59 there was water in my pool!

Joe and Blake were on site at least once a day making sure things were being taken care of. Any phone calls or text with questions or concerns were handled quickly and they were able to make changes quickly to the plans when necessary. Both Joe and Blake have unique backgrounds that help them deal with large scale projects with confidence. It's worth the time to have them out to learn about the company who they are as individuals and what they can do to bring a lifetime of enjoyment to your family.
