This place is amazing. Went there with my wife and sister. The food was amazing. The pizza was hot fresh and authentic, the salad was so fresh. My sister ordered the rigatoni parmigiana and she loved it. If you get a chance to visit this place take advantage.

Been here a few times on duty and decided to bring my family during a rainy Sunday. Food was amazing, wine tasty and service was friendly. Only issue we had was a couple items left off our meal. It's ok though - we will be back and I'm willing to give 5 stars ... love supporting local establishments.

Really great Greek-Italian fusion! A simple, classic diner of the type slowly disappearing from our country. Food is very good and affordable with plenty of offerings that will offer no surprises to those with a more picky palate, but also lots of opportunities to expand into some classic Greek and Mediterranean foods as well. Try one of the Greek pizzas! Skip the alcohol, it's pretty pricey, but if you've gotta have a beer ask your server what they have because we we're ordering Heineken off the menu before we realized they had Sweetwater and other craft offerings not listed.

I have been here maybe 4-5 times with family members or friends over the years, and honestly I don't know why. The food is terribly bland, I have had the spaghetti, and it seems pre-cooked and just heated back up (which makes it slimy, gross). The chicken parmesan is OK, but seems frozen, then heated and covered in canned tomato sauce. The herbs that go on these dishes seem old (rosemary, thyme and oregano for example), or possibly frozen as well; herbs go bad fast unless dried and even when dried they lose a ton of flavor. You can't have good Italian food without fresh herbs, and that's not the case here.
Sides, are not pleasing at all. The bread sticks are bland, they have absolutely zero flavor to them. You have to dip them in whatever sauce comes with your entree (if any) to give them flavor. In today's American/Italian restaurant market, you definitely need good bread sticks to stay competitive, they just need garlic butter or a good tomato sauce, it's really simple.
As far as the restaurant itself and the atmosphere, it needs a ton of updating. The seats as far as I can tell are 15+ year old seats, and starting to tear. Nothing seems clean in the restaurant, from the booths, to the tables. Even the menus were extremely worn out. I'd hate to see how worn out the kitchen is in comparison to the dinning area. It's also extremely dark here, especially at night, they need more lighting. Basically they just need to start over and remodel the entire place.
The staff if OK, not the best by any means, the owner is a little weird and invades your personal space. I went with it as I am easy going, but other people might find it weird.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jonathan A.Ponte Vedra Beach, FL8136113May 21, 2018
Been eating here my entire life, well the one in Cartersville for the first 1/2 but each location is pretty similar, and have never gone wrong with choosing Gondolier. I miss the BOGO pizza special (appears to be take out only which seems like an odd decision to change) but would not ever deter me from choosing to eat here. Everything is pretty solid and I usually end up with the Gyro.

Service was horrible and food was sub par. I was disappointed cause I was hoping to really like this place. They accidentally took our credit card to another table and brought a different credit card to us. I was upset because I thought they had lost it. But it finally got straightened out. The manger never came and apologize or even asked us how everything was. We will not be returning.

We love going here and try to get there at least once a week. We have always enjoyed every meal we have had there. Their pizza is great. My favorite dish on the menu is the Pollo Florentine. Off the menu is the Pastitsio (Greek lasagna). I'm sure I misspelled that. It's a dish that is made occasionally and we're on the call list. Also the coffee and desserts are to die for! Last time, I had coffee and the koke which almost looks like a chocolate covered donut filled with cream. It was a great ending to a great meal. We highly recommend going here.

It's been a while since we have been to the Gondolier, not sure why we stopped going for a while. My daughter suggested we go and since I had a craving recently for their style of pizza (Greek). Their menu is an extensive assortment of Italian and Greek specialties. If you are looking to get the best Gyro around, this is it. The meat is cut right off the vertical broiler and loaded up into the pita.. My favorite item here now and in the past, but I also had some mushroom pepperoni pizza. Pizza baked in the pan with the buttered crust with plenty of cheese, mushroom and pepperoni. Other items at our table included the cheese sticks, yes these are a regular in all our reviews. If they have them we usually order, these were a good standard stick with some great sauce to dip in. This restaurant is a well run establishment, mgmt and staff have always been appreciative that you patronize them. We will definitely be putting Gondolier back in our local rotation.

Love their Greek chicken salad, my kids enjoyed the mozzarella sticks, pizza and cheese ravioli. Great friendly service. We will be back.

Cute little old fashioned Italian/Greek place. Reminds me of a little place in New York. Owner came around several times to check on us. Portions are big enough to share and was very tasty. Booths are tiny so if you carry a little bit of "poundage" sit at a table.
