Einstein Pros Plumbing Heating Cooling

I don't really do a lot of reviews but this one is so simple I feel obligated to do it. I had the best experience, as far as one can have for plumbing issues :-)

I called Einstein plumbing because I continuously saw their trucks in my area. I got online to read reviews and certainly now understand why such goodness was and is written about this company. I have to single out the gentleman that we dealt pretty much exclusively with. Kenny. Kenny I cannot speak more complementary of him. He was top notch, a friendly guy, and I felt totally honest with me when giving me our quotes. His punctuality was so appreciated and his communication skills even better. It's a great company and there is no doubt in my mind I will be reaching out to them in the future, if need be :-)

Shotty job on installing furnace shotty job and installing plumbing 2017 I am not pleased with this company at all

No call no show on scheduled appointment. I called Einstein about it (got voice mail) and wrote two e mails. No response. One of the items involved warranty work on a tankless water heater.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! This company DOES NOT stand behind their work, nor do they employ "brainiac" plumbers, contrary to their name. We had work done last fall and it all needs to be repaired again, and more!! They basically called us liars and told us there was nothing they could do to help. We followed the EXPLICIT direction that the plumber gave us and this was the end result... said plumber is no longer employed at this company, imagine that. We were told they couldn't believe he'd told us what he did and it was our word against his... way to treat your customers!! I would NEVER use this outfit for any reason unless you like shelling out money for nothing, over and over again.

I called Einstein to get a bid. Sean came an hour early when I wasn't ready for him, told me the price and wanted to schedule right away. I told him I wanted to see a written bid first. The office called and said they wanted to do the job the next day--for some reason, I agreed. They again came two hours early before I was ready for them. Some of the work we agreed upon was not done, other work was done without my knowledge or authorization. Sean wrote up the bid standing at my kitchen sink after the job was finished.
The work seems satisfactory, but I need to call someone else to do the work they promised but did not do. I will not hire them again. If you consider using this company, GET A WRITTEN BID FIRST.

Total rip off and didn't provide me an estimate in advance but lead me to believe it would be roughly $250-$275 to install a new toilet that I already had. I was charged over $550 for a 1hr install. I refused to pay that and when I complained they knocked the price down to $340. This was literally a single hour of work for them. I am furious. Do yourself and your family a favor and take you money elsewhere this is not a good company to support.

I had Tony out for an examination of a potential leak from my shower drain. He did locate a small leave due to the old design of the shower or altered drain spout. He reccomend a full remodeling to properly fix the problem. I spent 4 weeks with a home warranty company fighting them to cover the repair. Tony did not have to be so helpful but through the whole 4 weeks we communicated very well and did everything possible to get the horrible home warranty to cover the repairs. Unfortunately just like all home warranty companies they refused. I ended up having to file a home insurance claim and boom things got rolling and within a couple weeks he got paid and did the full replacement of my shower. The awesome home decorator that he is picked out an awesome looking shower that is so more functional. I am very happy and so reccomend Einstein pros for plumbing. The office people are friendly and very responsive to your needs as well. Tony is a very hard worker and very good at his trade. Thank you for the hard work and being there for my needs when I know other companies would have not been so helpful.

They are certainly responsive and willing to help, unfortunately the cost and lack of detail around what they were charging me for was unacceptable. No idea on labor rate, or actual materials used and not interested in providing on the invoice. I feel a little like we were exploited as we needed help in a high demand season. Not great. Not sure it's better anywhere else.

Do not use this company, especially for HVAC. They installed two Hvac systems in our home and both were done wrong and ended up causing damage to the systems. They have cost us hundreds of dollars in repairs and the owner won't respond to my phone calls or take responsibility. They wired one system wrong causing the dampers to fail. When I called them back after we discovered the problem they claimed other HVAC companies were just trying to badmouth them. I literally watched the technician remove the wires that were in the wrong place as he described to me what had happened. The reason other companies had to come fix Einstein's mistakes is because when I call Einstein their HVAC guy is "out of the office for 6 weeks" and they refer me to someone else. This has happened more than once. Very disappointed with this company and the owner who doesn't care about making things right.

Jan 26 - Had an appointment to get a new water heater installed. They canceled saying someone was sick. Jan 28 - Had an appointment again. They called saying that they got the wrong water heater sent to them. So, what they said before was a lie. They didn't even have it in yet. Jan 26 was strike 1. Jan 28 was strike 2. They finally came Feb 8 but pushed the time back. 2 men showed up at 2:46pm to do the job. They took out the old water heater and then moved the gas line so they could install the new one. It took 2 1/2 hrs. Jake & Denny had a difficult job but did it. The area around the water heater was left messy and there was also a mess of white leading out of the garage. We had to give them a credit card before anything was done so they could order the water heater. We were charged for the full price before anything was done and that credit card was paid in full the day before they did the work. We were asked for payment after the water heater was installed! Luckily, my husband had just come home from work and told them that he paid in full! Jake said the office was closed so he'd have to check that the next morning! Not sure if we'd use them again or not. We didn't feel like appreciated customers. Total: $2000
