Elite Taxi

Watch out! Elite Taxi is as crooked as they come.

To set the scene, picture an 88-year-old woman who weighs 88lbs that cannot see well enough to type her own review of this hustler. My grandmother took a cab from a Cincinnati airpot to her apartment (a 10 minute drive or 4.2 miles, to be precise) and was given a bill of around $20.00, nothing out of the ordinary. Somehow "Chris", using his Square app, managed to end up charging her $125.00, which she only found out about the next day.

As far as we can tell there are only two ways he could have done this. He either input the incorrect amount himself or my grandmother accidentally added a "custom tip" (which seems unlikely given her eyesight and understanding of apps) and he did not have the decency to correct such a gargantuan error. Shame on you for taking advantage of the elderly!

Upon reporting this error to the company more than one member of the staff admitted they were at fault and told my father the difference would be credited back to her account. Several phone calls later and my grandmother has still not received the money. The credit card company has also declined reimbursing her for it as the taxi company apparently claimed (to American Express) my grandmother was at fault. The owner "Dave" was supposedly too sick to call my father back (a tactic used by evasive business owners and lazy high schoolers), and now perhaps intends to put off my grandmother until she gives up or forgets.

What kind of company behaves this way? Who would employ a cab driver that intentionally rips-off old women? Oh wait, I'll tell you! Elite Taxi, your local, crooked, unfriendly cab company.

Tonight I was driven home by a fella who was so entirely hurt by the fact that I gave him shit for going all the way downtown Cincinnati, knowing good and well it was Taste of Cincinnati, because it is every year at this time, I poked fun at him for taking me a longer, silly route... he then proceeded to be a jerk when I told him I was just looking out for my own wellbeing and that we all knew the traffic had been going on for days, he claimed he didn't remember that the routes were off/wonky/streets closed ..told me that since I bitched so much my ride was free and that he didn't want to talk to and or hear me the rest of the way to NKU... I tried to reason with him that a lot of ppl do suck but I was just trying to see if there was a better route. Tipped him $23 and fucked off. This was thee worst, actually, his hair cut was an absolute monstrosity :(

Good service clean cars Elite has been fairly good to me I have no complaints I've used this service quite a bit these past couple of months with no mishap let's see what the future hold

Just excellent. I wasn't able to get callbacks or answers to emails from any other taxi company in downtown Cincinnati. Elite to the rescue. They picked me up within 10 minutes of my call and took me to a venue in Covington and also picked me up within 10 minutes when I called to be taken home. They are my new "go to" taxi company. Thanks, guys.

This is the ONLY taxi company I trust. I've worked at the front desk of hotels in the area and this is the most recommended taxi company from many of the hotels. I used to do a lot of bar hopping and I trusted Elite for all of my taxi needs. Everyone else will over charge you, be completely rude, or just have a crappy looking taxi.

Elite is the best taxi service ever! They are reliable, clean and very nice and professional! I wouldn't call any other service!

I am a city girl and travel for business so cab rides are a necessity. I use this service to safely get home at night after drinking... always appropriate unlike uber. Always dependable and right on time. Also use to get to and from airports, and as I say, even at 430am for the AM flights... always cordial, reliable and on time. Have used this cab company over 6 years now. I wont give yellow cab or others time of day... they have left me stranded, in rain, snow, missing schedules, they simply dont care about their customers, whereas elite taxi does!

The rudest cab company I've ever dealt with. You should be ashamed of yourselves for talking to your customers the way you do.

Only cab service I will use in Cincinnati. I use uber in other towns but when I am in Cincinnati I use elite because it feels like a uber ride- clean cars, friendly drivers, no games.

Elite is the only taxi I will use in northern KY/downtown Cincinnati. I've been calling them for a few years now and everyone is always great. They are so quick it's crazy. Don't use any other cab service- elite is worth the call!
