Other than a jet, yacht, and private island, buying a home is the single largest purchase I've ever seriously pondered. Eric took the time to explain the DC-MD-VA market in detail, and his personal experience and investment in the area means his money is where his mouth is. He even reached out to his many industry contacts to see how I could get the best rates through the Veteran's Administration loans program, so you know he loves America and puppies. We toured various properties to get a feel for pricing and availability, and I appreciated his candor when he thought a place wasn't a good fit based on the information I'd given him.

Working with Eric was easy, he is laid back and flexible during the hunt, but really knows how to turn it on to get to the finish line. Eric worked with my fiance and me as we perused the market at our own pace for about a year. One lazy Saturday in April, as we were sitting on the couch flipping through homes we came across one that we absolutely loved. We weren't sure we were ready, but we called Eric anyway, and he immediately responded with "Want to go see it?" After spending over an hour in the home, we knew it was the one and Eric got to work.

Eric really brought his "A" game when it came to putting an offer on our house. I truly believe that his expertise and knowledge of the DC housing market helped us put in the best offer possible and ultimately the reason that we got the house. Eric has a great team around him and helped us with everything from obtaining pre-approval and eventually a loan to finding a Home Inspector and coordinating everything with the title company.

Being our first home we really didn't know what to expect. Eric was exceptional at explaining the process and answering all the questions that we had. After we had closed on the house, all we could say was, "Why didn't anyone tell us buying a house was so easy." It really shouldn't be as easy as it was. Buying a house is a huge deal, it's a lot of money and a big decision to make in life, but having Eric at our side made it feel right.

As a first-time home buyer I was somewhat intimidated by the idea of actually going through with it, but working with Eric took all of the stress or anxiety out of the process. He was patient as I looked through listings but never fell in love with anything, and when I finally saw something I thought might be a good fit, Eric was on the phone immediately setting up an appointment to go see it that weekend. He was thorough during our first viewing -- including when it came to slowing me down a bit and raising potential questions I might not have thought to ask. He took me to see a few more places in the area that day to compare what I'd be getting for what I was spending.

When I decided to put the offer in, Eric was again as thorough and helpful as he possibly could have been all the way through the end of the process, when I signed the dotted line.

I don't know if I would have been able to actually get all of this done without Eric's help and his attention to every little detail involved, especially those that I hadn't known to anticipate. I know for sure that I wouldn't have gotten through the process as easily and free of stress without Eric's help. He made it as smooth as a home purchase could possibly be, and I can't recommend his services enough.

He knows the market well. He knows the different neighborhoods of DC. He is good at finding homes that fit your needs and preferences. He always made himself available at nights and on weekends to accommodate our schedules. He is extremely prompt to respond to questions about particular homes as well as other general inquiries. He is good at building relationships and communications with the seller agent. The team he brings together to handle the various components of the home purchase are all excellent. I couldn't has asked for a better real estate agent. We are extremely happy in our new home and extremely grateful to Eric.

Eric helped my fiancee and me purchase our first place in May 2015 and he could not have been more helpful. We were first-time home sellers and didn't know what to expect. Eric knows the market well and worked to make sure that he provided guidance (vs pushing us) to help us come up with what we felt were the right parameters for listing our home. Eric helped us purchase our first home and he was amazing. We had a ton of questions about the entire process and he explained everything in detail and was very patient with us. He also knew a lot about the Northeast DC market and took the time to take us to a lot of houses to get a sense of what our money could buy. Finally, he went above and beyond, helping us talk through our decision at length, making sure we were comfortable with everything, and being available at literally all hours -- especially when we had a few unexpected hiccups during the negotiations. Also, all of the people Eric works with, from his recommended loan officer, to the inspector, to the settlement attorney, were equally as professional and worked quickly so that we could put an offer together and close as soon as possible.
