Competent physician with an excellent treatment room staff. Waits are very, very long because of poor scheduling and the front desk does nothing to alleviate or address patient concerns about long waits. Excellent care and a good doctor albeit not a particularly personable one. He is, however, one of the better surgeons in the area and skill should trump personality (of which we has none) at all times. His "bedside manner" is not good but his work is. Waiting room has not been redone since the 60's. It is extremely clean and not horribly unattractive but VERY dated, dark and depressing and cheaply furnished. You will get good care here and that is what really matters.

I have been a patient at the Rothchild Eye Institute for the past four years and have seen most of the doctors on staff for various issues. I have found doctors, technicians and staff to be the finest professionals in the business. They let me take all the time I need to address my questions and options. It is a sign of good leadership when the same friendly faces greet you each appointment.

One star is too good of a rating for what I just gave him!!! Never seen such a rude doctor in all my life!!! I've been going to him for six years and I've witnessed him being rude to other patients but I have never been the brunt of his rudeness until today! Today was my day!!! Especially for a Doctor Who delivers precious newborns needs an attitude adjustment! Very rude to his staff! I've literally watched him jump up and down angrily at his staff and grab her hand to put it on the mouse to show her where to navigate it on the computer! He has told me numerous times on other clients conditions. Which is very unethical and unprofessional! Do yourself a favor and find another doctor, run as far away from him as you can. Over charges for his visits. I made a big mistake when I decided to use him for my obstetrician during my pregnancy. I'm glad I found out in time, what kind of a doctor he is and found myself a new doctor before my baby is born! Looks like you don't like your job anymore doc.... Maybe you need to retire!

I was initially pleased with this office. The Dr. - I thought - was well versed regarding my needs. Later on I became aware that he absolutely did not listen to me or observe what was best for me. Disappointed is an understaement especially since his credentials speak so highly. I would tell others to not rush the process as the office staff had me do and seek out an opthamologist that will hear/ listen to the patient.
