Es Baret has hands-down the best paella on the island! Go here for fresh, authentic, homecooked dishes. Our party of 6 were beyond satisfied with the food and experience - and we had a few picky eaters with us! We will definitely come here again the next time we come to Palma. We could not have been happier!

I walked away from the fancy places in the city center and I instead looked for some real homemade stuff. It turns out that I found it. I am still dreaming with the Sobrasada!!! What a great sandwich! I got a salad, and sobrasada sandwich and a couple of perfectly served cold beers: total =11 euros. Perfect dinner to end a tough day working hard!

This place was great. It's easy to find and in a central location. My friend and I split the "Tapas variadas" which was only 6 euro-ish per person. There were 8 different tapas, ranging from safe to adventurous. The chorizo was amazing, the fresh vegetable salad was killer, loved the tuna and anchovies also. Snails were a first for me and they were pretty good. The potatoes were pretty boring and neither my friend or I cared much for the pork stomach (that's what we were told it was by the server, at least). I don't think it was bad, but not my favorite. I think it was the owner came and brought more bread and told us to dip it in the sauces at the end. He was a really sweet guy and welcomed us to Palma. I would definitely go back--solid food at a great price and a friendly staff!
