Eye Center of Central PA

I needed an appointment immediately do to a major eye issue I thought I was having. A friend of mine know one of the doctors there and personally email the doctor. The doctor said to call to make an appointment to be seen. This was on the weekend. So Monday morning I called the Lewisburg office and told them that the doctor was expecting my call and that I needed to make an appointment with that particular doctor. They made me and appointment and when I arrived I was seen by a PA, NOT the doctor. The staff led me to believe I was seeing the doctor that I ask for.
Upon my arrival the staff was lackadaisical and acted like they could care less about my situation. They didn't even tell me that I was not seeing a doctor. It was after I sat there awhile that I noticed on a board on the wall that the doctor I thought I was seeing was not even in the office. So the staff lied right to my face about what was going on.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY!! The office staff is completely worthless!!

Would definitely not recommend worst experience with glasses and contacts. Each appointment was 2+ hours and still am not satisfied with glasses and don't have prescription for contacts.

Not ADA compliant.
VERY difficult to get a wheelchair into facility.
Sidewalks are uneven & broken.
No automatic door for wheelchair.
Very long wait time; they only have one wheelchair accessible room.

I just cam back from a visit to the Eve Center in Lewisburg. My appointment was for 1:30 PM. There was a note on the board that states they wait time was 1/2 hour.

After 1hour and 15 minutes of waitin, I finally went up to the desk to find out what the problem was. She said I was "NEXI". NEXT meant another 20 minute wait until I was called back by the technician.
I told her that I thought an hour and a half wait to even see the technician was unacceptable. Her first comment to me after saying they were busy was to say my appointment was at 2 pm. I told her my card said 1:30 pm, which I double checked when I got home and it was 1:30 pm on the card.
After the scans , there was another 15 minutes in the exam room until De. Ou came in. I did not leave there until 3:45 pm.

These excessive wait times are not acceptable, inconsiderate, and poor customer service. It is obvious they are overbooking and not allowing enough time for scans and the doctor visit for each patient. terrible customer service. Patient time is also valuable but obviously not valued by this office and company. This is not the first time I have been to this office and had this happen to me and observe the same happening to other patients. Something needs to be done!!!!

I went to go get contacts and find out my new prescription. I ended up waiting for them for two weeks & they never sent them out. Once I got the contacts I found out they were my old, old prescription. They are so lazy. Don't recommend at all. I would've put 0 stars if I could. The staff working there are old grumpy women. They need better staff & it doesn't feel welcoming at all.

While I have seen the same optometrist for years without a concern, the staff has always been a problem. Rude, arrogant, unprofessional and condescending. They are always in a rush to get you in so they can go back to their cell phones or internet surfing. Worse yet, I have heard many them on numerous occasions making derogatory and unprofessional statements about patients. Time to move on even if it means getting a different doctor.

Was treated very poorly and left with many questions unanswered. Long time spent in waiting room, but they were very quick to rush me out once they called me back to be seen. Had a lasik consult, and they couldn't answer most of my questions, but still wanted me to schedule surgery. The lasik consult was less than 10 minutes, and didn't learn anything other than what they told me months before during my eye exam. They don't treat you like a patient here, most staff don't seem to want to talk with you. Avoid this business.

Long wait even with confirmed appointment. Staff ignore you while chatting up other customers. Clearly have patients stacked up to wait.

Terrible do not respond back still waiting over a week to get answer and pricing. Totally put down other places without having any knowledge of them.

Avoid. Very poor service involving long waits in the building, long waits for glasses, poor quality work (mismeasuring for glasses), and a generally uncaring attitude toward the customer. Good optometrist (Orrin) but every other aspect of the experience was terrible.
