      I had a very good experience with my visit with Dr. Mehtani and found him to be professional and friendly. The entire exam was pain free and comfortable!
      Dr Mehtani answered my questions without making me feel rushed. He showed me on a screen my eye health and explained the results of my tests in a way that was clear and understandable to me. The Office staff is very nice and everyone was very kind and put me at ease. I highly recommend this practice. Thank you again.

      I had an appointment with Dr. Vu and Dr. Mehtani on Wednesday. I did not have to wait for someone to usher me in for an eye scan shortly after I arrived--- which was followed by meeting with Dr. Vu. Dr. Vu is professional and personable and we had a good discussion about my issues. He answered my questions adequately and I felt good about the meeting.

      Next I met with Dr. Mehtani. He was very knowledgable and spent time explaining and talking about my condition. We had a very informative dialogue and he was patient and did not rush our time together. I appreciate both Doctors and thank them for assuring me and discussing how to perform home care for my situation. Highly recommended.

      Worst Dr.'s office experience I have ever had. Was referred by my GP for an eye issue that had been bothering me for some time. Came to the appt. and was immediately met with attitude by the front desk. I told them I had misplaced my insurance card during a move the week before, but had all the information(Company name, patient # and group #) provided directly from my local referring Dr. to provide to them so they could bill my provider. I said they could also call my GP right then and there to verify that the information. They said they didn't have time to make any phone calls and demanded cash.

      So, I called my Dr.'s office and handed them the phone to speak directly to her at which time she explained that had insurance and all info was correct. They then said they didn't care if the info was correct and they needed a mailing address, which was on the back of the insurance card I did not have. My Dr. said they could easily call "patient services" and get this info, but they again refused to lift a finger to help me.

      The actual Dr. that treated me was just fine, but wow, the front desk ladies are some of the rudest, most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. It seems by the other reviews that this is a common theme at this office. I would not refer my worst enemy here....also, normally I would never leave a negative review as I myself have a business, but I never received a call back after this appt. for an urgent medical issue. Unfortunately, your health comes 2nd to the front desk's unprofessionalism and hard up for cash attitude here.

      Called seven times today to ask Dr Bosetti's admin ( or any body in the office ) to please stop sending" you need an eye exam appointment " mail to my wife - who died two years ago.
      Placed on interminable hold seven times.Never got to talk to anybody.
      These guys make AT&T Customer Service look world class and have less chance than a flea on a marble dog of ever getting any business from me.
      ps when my wife was still alive she came home from at least half the appointments without seeing a doctor as they were always running hours behind.Pathetic.

      I've been going to Eye Specialists for somewhere around ten-twelve years. I have found the the reception to be efficiently professional. Appointment reminders are sent ahead of time both by post card and by phone call. Cancellations are accepted graciously and in this time I've never felt the need to complain about anything save once ... I had a prescription either mis-read or mis-ground by their optical company. After rechecking my eyes, the prescription was resent and the reground glasses were returned ... with, of course, no additional charge.

      The waiting room is large, their are 16 to 20 lobby type cushioned chairs. Sometimes the waiting room is full; sometimes nearly empty. Depends on timing.

      I noticed people in the thread complaining about multi-scheduling of appointments. ALL medical offices do that. I've rarely waited longer than ten minutes to see the optometrist to get my prescription checked; and once done, rarely more than ten minutes for my appointment with the ophthalmologist. I always bring a book, but then, I always take a book everywhere.

      Dr. Vu and Dr. Jamison are my optometrist and ophthalmologist and each have always answered all my questions to the level of detail I desired (I have some grounding in science) and have been courteous about doing so.

      When getting fitted for my glasses, the technician fitting and adjusting has been spot on ... and when I've come in for a screw replacement for an errant temple screw, they've assisted with a smile and cleaned those nose pads as well.

      So ... for me ... five stars.

      Absolute BS. Do not bother making an appointment. Does not matter anyway. My husband had a 3:45 appointment and was not seen until 4:40. Supposedly the doctor got behind. Well why on earth would you not disclose that at check in? Or update your patients? She says she didn't know. That is a fabrication since the people that were at the counter right after us at check in were complaining about how long they had been waiting. 10-20 minutes is one thing. 50 minutes is complete crap. Absolutely and utterly unacceptable. That 50 minutes does not include the 15 minutes early they want you to be here or the actual appointment itself, making this the absolute longest appointment on the planet.

      And as an added bonus while you are here, you get to have them be rude to you for asking questions. Another awesome worker said to a lady in the RUDEST tone, "I dont even know what you are talking about," kept interrupting her, cutting her off, was super condescending to her when the patient was trying to explain a call she had with another worker in the office here, it was beyond unprofessional. Maybe she WOULD know what the patient was talking about if she would have let her speak.

      No professionalism. No regard for the time of their patients. We don't have to spend our money here. We chose to. We won't be making that mistake again. Fortunately all we are out is the $10 copay. They certainly won't be getting our money for his glasses. And they won't be getting the money for my glasses or my sons glasses or either of our upcoming eye exams.

      I could cancel those appointments but won't bother. They have no regard for my time and so I will return the favor. Additionally, I started this draft about a month ago. In the meantime, we have come to find out from another eye doctor that my husband prescription was COMPLETELY WRONG!! We purchased his glasses from another eye doctor in town after our horrible experience here and when after a week or so he was still getting bad headaches, he took them back to the doctor who filled the prescription. She compared them to his old pair - ya know, the ones he was WEARING at his appointment with Eye Specialists - and she said that the doctor either gave him someone elses prescription or just completely messed up.

      I recently had my second cataract surgery with Dr. Bosetti. Everything went very well and I am just as pleased with this result as I was with the first eye. He is very professional, incredibly talented, and very kind to his patients. He even called me prior to surgery to make sure that I didn't have any questions or to go over a few options.

      I also have had great experience with Dr. Jameson and Dr. Vu. They are very professional and compassionate. I have had very great care there.

      Only reason I didn't give five stars as I've had some frustration with the accounting office.

      Unfortunately, the Eye Specialists overbook all of their appointments. The doctors are really good, but you arrive for your appointment, and you wait, and then you wait some more. Plan on having something to keep you occupied while you wait......
      I always feel like them being profitable is much more important than my time. Another issue is that there is a big sign posted saying that they do not accept insurance through the Affordable Care Act. While this does not affect me, again, it just seems like the almighty dollar is much more important than the patients they pack in like sheep.

      We are not very happy at all with their accounting dept. My elderly sick father went their last year to get a prescription eyeglasses that he needed. last month he needed to go back to check his eyesight again because of his diabetes. They told him he still owed a bill from last year. My father told them he had paid any outstanding bill. They insisted that their records showed otherwise. My father had to pay them again in order for the eye doctor to see him. He needed to get his Drivers license up to date. When he came home and checked his records he found a credit card bill that was paid for the same amount that he was charged again. On top of all that they charged him $50.00 to fill out the paperwork for the DMV. Unbelievable.
      We definitely don't recommend this office to anyone. They won't even send you a bill. People need to pay the full amount on their first visit. That's a shame.

      I've only been in Napa for 2 years, and this is my first experience with an eye doctor here, but i went when i lived in Louisiana. I can say without a doubt these guys are top notch. While you do get shuffled around a bit, they maximize their use of the various testing rooms. Dr. Vu was friendly and informative, and i never felt rushed, as he spent enough time with me to answer all of my questions and to make specific recommendations based on my usage of both contacts and glasses. Dr. Jameson was also very friendly and informative. While they had glasses onsite, there was no pressure to purchase, and they handed me my prescription to take with me to fill anywhere that i liked. This was really different from my experiences with opthamologists/optometrists in Louisiana.
