We found Eye Spy by seeing a ton of comments raving about them on our neighborhood Facebook page. We couldn't be more grateful for finding them! Darryl and his team are absolutely the best home inspectors we've ever used. The level of detail and customer service is incredible. We felt so much more comfortable throughout the recent building process having the pre-drywall and final inspection. He found things that absolutely needed to be addressed and the builder did so based on his thorough and detailed reports. We really cannot say enough about how fantastic he is. We will be scheduling an 11 month inspection with him prior to our warranty with the builder running out and we highly recommend him to anyone purchasing or building a home.

Kelly and Daryl with Eye Spy Home Inspection are the absolute best! I'm a real estate agent and my clients rave about their integrity, their customer service, and they both have the heart of a teacher - so they take their time to explain the sometimes confusing details of the home inspection. I couldn't recommend them more highly!

company inspected a home i was going to purchase. I had ONLY 1 thing i was worried about.. the heating and AC - the company pretty much told me the AC was in good shape the only problem was that the AC unit was not level if i have it leveled everything would be fine - later we purchased the home and then turned on the AC.. NOTHING the unit doesn't work - called out 3 AC companies - they all told me the same thing NOONE could have looked the unit over and passed it with a clean bill of health - I spent everything I had on this home and now i have to spend another 5790. on a new AC unit... this company needs to spend some money and get some better people imho

Hi Larry, I'm sorry to hear you had a problem with your AC unit. I reviewed your Inspection Report and supporting pictures, which showed the HVAC temperature readings for both heat and cooling at the time of inspection. In reading through the report for your townhome, I found there were actually 3 defects listed under HVAC System, all 3 of of which can contribute to premature failure, and all of which included recommendation for further evaluation and repair as needed by a licensed HVAC contractor.
4.0 (2) reads: " Signs of water/moisture intrusion in the furnace, appears to be condensation dripping into the unit, including burner area. There is a small amount of rust, which will worsen over time and can cause other defects with the unit. Recommend further evaluation and maintenance/service/repair as needed to correct, by a qualified HVAC technician."
We're sorry if you missed that or decided not to call someone out prior to closing. In the future, we highly recommend pursuing any additional inspections prior to closing. Also, if you ever have a problem after moving in -- call your inspector. We would have been happy to come and take a look. Best wishes in your new home!
