Father and Son Painting

This company does great drywall and decent paint work. I made a mistake and hired this company to try and remodel a small bathroom. I don't even think he has his builders license. I caught him lying on several occasions but that is very long story. His workers showed up to my house I assume drunk because their clothes smelled of alcohol. They installed my hot and cold pipes (PVC, instead of copper) to the wall. When they left I noticed they had glued them to the adjacent rooms drywall. When I told the owner he fixed it by ripping off the pipes which put a hole in the drywall in the other room (bedroom) I was not happy. When he put on the shutoff valves for the sink he did not have them tightened down so when the house water was turned on the shut off valves blew off the pipes and it flooded the bathroom and the newly installed drywall. He did this TWICE...not once.....but twice. I was amazed. His workers also installed the drain pipe underneath the bathroom so it was running up hill into the main sewer line that lead outside into my drain field. LOL...I looked at that and shook my head. I had to reinstall all of the work they had done. Also, because of the bathroom flooding twice I had to have my house tested for black mold in fear that the drywall got soaked and would not dry out.

He constantly canceled on me telling me his daughter was sick and was home all day. That same day I decided to cancel my check until work was completed. When I called my bank they said he had been in that day to cash the check. That was one of the times I caught him being dishonest. To make a long story short, DO NOT hire him for any kind of handyman services.
