Five Star Nails

They make you feel like family, and they guarantee their work, and the owner them always make me laugh and everyone else does too. Anytime of the day we will make it happen but they can't. They will let you know upfront.

I absolutely love this nail salon. Every time I call they get me in and I have even gone on my lunch hour! My nails always come out beautiful and I am very particular. I recommend them to everyone! They are so nice and professional. Love it!

Unfortunately, I've had 2 bad experiences at this nail salon. I was foolish to go back after the 1st visit. I went there to get a balance. Solar nails. With solar nails being the most expensive set of nails/balance on their bored, I expected perfection. What I ended up with was far from that. The previous color tips I had were blue and I wanted them changed to red. These are the worst nails I've ever had. You can clearly still see the blue underneath the red on several of my nails. Very frustrating considering the amount of money I paid to get them re done. Of course I didn't see this until after I left there. I work 3rd shift and had been up all night the night before so the only thing on my mind was sleep. I never thought to check his work. Big mistake. Also, with the tool he was using, he went too far and it eventually went into my natural nail and it hurt! It was like a stinging/burning sensation. A couple of times I had to yank my hands from his. I've never experienced pain before getting my nails done. The clear coat he applied at the end was messy and barely coated the nails. Not to mention he rushed the entire time. I was in there for maybe 45 minutes and he was on his blue tooth for 30 of those minutes. Never will I go back.

I had a regular nail salon I've been going to since I was a teenager, but after wanting more than sub-pare, I ventured out to find a new nail salon. I looked at the fancy ones downtown, but I didn't feel comfortable and found Star Nails down the street from me. My previous nail tech would constantly cut my fingers and nail beds, making them sore for days after. Here, they are super gentle and are diligent to make your nails as perfect as possible.

I haven't had a full set in years. I needed some for a new job. I went to another place close to five star nails. The polish job on the original full set was horrible and flawed. I didn't say anything at that time. I broke a nail a week later and went back to the same place to get it repaired and to get fresh polish. Again the polish job was terrible . I decided to go to five Star nails after being estranged for years. The shop was updated and modern and there was a whole new staff. They got me in a chair immediately. They also gave me a very beautiful new balance and the polish job was stellar. I believe the quality of their polish was top-notch and dried very quickly. This is important to anyone who knows how much it costs to get a full set and maintain them. It matters. They did a great job and they were very friendly and I love my nails. Definitely going back.
