I used this company to serve a company that owed me money, the manager Paul went out of the way and found the owners home for me. He got him served and now I will have my day in court. Great service at a reasonable price!

Great Service. I paid for routine service and this company handled my serve the very next day. I got my Affidavit back the same day also. I will definitely use them again if needed.

Best experience ever. Fair pricing and almost immediate results. Incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel at peace during the process.

We hired another process server, who after three weeks gave us nothing but excuses. We contacted Freestate and our subpoena was served that day! Service was amazing. Would recommend them to anyone who requires a process server.

I reached out to this agency, and others, for personal service of an out-of-state citation. A representative from Freestate Investigations responded to my request after I had hired another agency for the job. I was very nice about it, and was about to say, "hopefully we can work together another time," or something to that effect, when the representative criticized my inquiry email, and then hung up on me. I would not trust this agency to act professionally and perform legal tasks.

Mr. Paul Koch of Freestate Investigations was hired as a private process server. I sent the papers I had along with the agreed-upon fee of $75. Mr. Koch contacted me to say that I needed to file the papers with the court first, and I responded that I did. (I did not realize I was supposed to wait for a Writ of Summons from the court as I have never sued anyone before.) He did not respond to indicate that additional paperwork was needed, then "served" the papers. When I later realized that the papers were not in fact served, I contacted Mr. Koch again. At this point, he did not respond to any of my questions or emails. I sent the Writ of Summons to him, which he served properly this time. He also sent a bill for $85. When I contacted him to express my dismay at not only being charged twice, but that the cost was higher, his attitude was that it was basically my fault. I believe that Mr. Koch acted in bad faith and took advantage of someone who did not know the system. He clearly knew that I should have had additional paperwork the first time, but he did not mention it to me. I told him that I did not agree to the additional $85 charge, and that if he had told me that when I contacted him the second time, I would have declined his services. Again, I believe he acted unethically and in bad faith.
