GFY (Good For You) Express Carwash is an exterior tunnel wash that gives customers a great, quality wash in a short period of time. Customers do not have to exit their vehicles throughout their wash experience unless they wish to use our free vacuums after or before the wash. Extended hours of operation definitely add to the night time effects of the carwash light show that can be seen from inside the carwash tunnel as each vehicle is washed. Make sure to add a night time GFY Express Carwash light show experience to your to do list. We close at 9 PM Monday - Thursday, Sunday and we close at 10 PM Friday & Saturday. This way everyone has a chance to get home from work, grab supper, then head back out for a car wash without being rushed. After all, we're "The Car Wash For Busy People." We offer one time washes as well as monthly memberships which allow the customer to wash their vehicle once a day, every day of the month, for one low cost. We have membership wash packages as low as $20 a month. Individual washes start at just $6 with the top wash being $20 which includes our famous Dry N Shine.

My daughter and I took both of our cars there and they did a great job. Then I absentmindedly left my car mat when I clipped it to clean. I didn't realize it until weeks later and went back and they had it! They were so helpful!

Don't waste your money! Sprayed some type of rust water on my windshield and had to take it somewhere to have it removed.
Assistant manager was so rude and would not even take the time to listen to me. I've asked to cancel my monthly subscription but no answers.
I will deal with it through the credit card company.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rohan W.Spring, TX0812Apr 4, 2023
Seems to be closing more often earlier than posted business hours. Happened multiple times this month. Already closed at 5pm today. No rain. The guys scrubbing always miss the right side of the Windshield due to laziness. Coupe of the wash brushes don't even work.... This is place is going down his fast!

This place has went from Awesome to a absolute Dump. It was well kept and you could tell the owner took pride in it. Now, it is has just been run into the ground. The employees are lazy and don't do anything more than they have too. Even when they brush down your vehicle before going in the wash it is done in a haft ass way and you can tell they only do it cause the have too. There is now trash everywhere and you can tell they don't clean the vacuum areas at all anymore. They don't cut the grass for months and when the place is closed you would think it has shutdown! Obviously under new management that doesn't care about the wash and is putting all the money some place else. They need to get there act together or they are going to loose this Business all together.

Just paid for the highest cleaning they offer (and I have a monthly subscription for my other vehicle), the final towel ripped off my windshield wipers. I went to ask what could be done to fix it and the assistant manager ( noon 11/29/22) told me it wasn't their fault and it was my fault. I asked for a card of someone above him that could help since he couldn't and he told me he was the person to talk to and basically told me to "screw off". I'll be cancelling my subscription and will not be back.

Out of all the car wash options in our area, GFY offers the best service. Prices are comparable to other drive thru washes but GFY will actually scrub your grill, windshield, rear of vehicle with soap and brush before entering.
Well maintained and always clean.
And my favorite reason for using GFY, I don't lose signal on my satellite radio!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jamie W.Tomball, TX061Jun 15, 2020
Today I chose the $10 wash option, not the cheapest and not the most expensive. For the price it was a really good wash, but I do have a large SUV (FJ Cruiser) and there were definite missed spots on the vehicle from the brushes/soap. They pre-brushed off the windshield and front of the vehicle, but I still had bug guts and the like on the front. The vacuum section is actually better than most car washes I've been to though. It's clean, vacuums all work, and the air nozzles aren't missing!

Decor: They get really festive around different holidays and put up decorations to match, so children may get a kick out of that
Price: $6-20*, It could cost you a whole lot more, read below for details
Customer Service: Friendly initially, but when you have an issue that friendliness goes away
All-in-all: It may be "Good for You (GFY)" to get a car wash elsewhere
This business review took a year to post, because I have been dealing with the aftermath from the wash for that long. If you are an optimist, I guess you can say my first (and likely last) carwash here lasted me an entire year - but that wasn't by choice.
December 24, 2017, after getting a car inspection I was headed to a different car wash on FM 2920, but on the way I passed a GFY Express Car Wash (a business I hadn't noticed before, having lived in the area since 2003) on Kuykendahl so I decided to give them a shot. I turned into the car wash, and pulled around to the pay station/kiosk where a young man that pressed all the buttons and swiped my card for the transaction then escorted me around to prepare for the wash tunnel entrance greeted me. While being directed and positioned to get on the rollers, I followed the instructions of putting the car in neutral and began to read the smaller sign to the left of the larger instructions - until the wash crew began to pre-treat the car and further obstructed the view to the signage on the tunnel.
While in the wash tunnel, I noticed that machinery broke my driver side mirror and left it dangling by wires. So, once the wash was complete I exited and pulled up alongside the wash tunnel to get the attention but unbeknownst to me there must have been some magical soap in the wash to make me an my car invisible because no staff member would talk to or approach me after looking in my direction and seeing the damaged mirror. I finally get the attention of a young man, who tells me he is currently the person in charge, and tell him I need to speak to someone about the damage to my car. He then asks how old my car is, I let him know, then he does some mental math (assisted by his fingers) to tell me "Yeah, we aren't responsible", I ask him why, and he goes to mention a sign on the tunnel (that was obstructed by the pay kiosk, the person escorting, and the pre-wash crew), I let him know I couldn't do that so I asked to speak with the owner, to which he goes to grab the telephone and puts me in contact with Bobbie M. (seen below in the comments of other reviews). At this point, there is no remorse for the damage, or care provided for the damage by a staff member, spoiler alert... that doesn't change.
I let Bobbie know about the situation, she replies "Our wash couldn't have done the damage because it would have damaged all the cars before and after yours", to which I let her know that I just came from getting a car inspection and the mirror was perfectly attached before. Bobbie then let me know that she is "just trying to celebrate the holidays away from the business" (like I wanted to celebrate Christmas eve in this way...) to which I let her know that I would just take some pictures and fill out her damage claim report and I would return after the holiday. She asked me to speak with manager Roxanne N. after the holiday. I take the pictures; notice a subpar wash (but I only got the $6 wash so maybe I got what I paid for.... and then some) and let down my window to bring the mirror inside and prevent the dangling piece from further damaging the car.
I got quotes for the repair ahead of my meeting with Roxanne; the meeting with Roxanne was dismissive so I called the cops for further assistance. Police reviewed the recorded footage and verified the mirror was damaged in the wash and advised me to file a civil lawsuit. I followed the advice and had the longest road to a resolution (a few days shy of a year) after the longest coldest day in small claims court, fun fact: in the event you need the information, Bobbie M. is not listed as the official business owner, nor the managing partner (despite what the business card says), if you need to file a lawsuit. The business will not provide you with this information, but be sure to look that information up before filing suit. While the car wash was $6 in price, the cost to file the lawsuit was $200 (not including other related costs) so I would advise you others to stick with car washes they are familiar with or you could be in a similar situation.
You may have better luck than I had with this business, so I wish you and this business all the best in your future interaction(s).Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessica B.Austin, TX02Nov 9, 2020
One of the better drive thru car washes I've been to. The attendants always scrub the front very well which is great bc I generally go after road trips and the bugs are horrible. Great prices, convenient, friendly service, and the best vacuums I've been able to find in a long time.

There are many, many car washes in this area. This particular car wash averages what you would pay at all the other locations. Difference is you get more for the money. The property is always clean and the staff are very helpful. I get a consistently clean vehicle each time I visit. The vacuums work great. They even have air spray to blow out all the interior
nooks and crannies.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
