Dr. Obraitis is Awesome!!
I saw a different Dentist and her treatment Plan was SO inefficient. Dr. Obraitis reviewed my case, created an efficient treatment plan and treated me on a Sunday! Oct 18, 2022Previous reviewI've been going here a long while. Lots of recent changes and nice new staff! Saw a new Dentist today, Dr. Loomis. He had a good "bedside manner" and was very helpful at explaining treatments I needed!
My old dentist and a couple staff that knew me (and my idiosyncrasies well) left and I was going to find a new office. But having a cleaning by New Hygienist George, (he was awesome) and seeing the new dentist, I'm going to keep my family going to this office.Jun 18, 2022Previous reviewThis place used to be good with specific dentists, now just a parade of random dentists. Front office staff are great, business model is crap! No different then going to an Emergency Room for every Medical ailment. Seeing people who don't know you and have no gage on anything about you isn't considered Quality Care or Practice!

I want to lead with the fact that all the staff were very professional and caring. Appointment was easy to book. I also feel that the hygienist did a great job with cleaning my gums.
The black staining on my teeth, which was why I came in to begin with, was mostly removed but I did notice that a lot of it was overlooked. I still have big specks on the inside of my teeth and it's worrying to me. I'm a very obsessive person, so I could be overreacting, but I think the cleaning was slightly rushed for what I paid (300). I don't know if I'll want to come back purely based on value.
In summary, very satisfied with my overall cleaning care, but still apprehensive in the way I feel about the marks on my teeth.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Horrible, horrible scheduling. My last few appointments in Feb for deep cleaning were rescheduled...what, five times? I lost count. Finally I had to beg them to get me in for my other half of the cleaning before my insurance changed. They would confirm on a Friday and then I'd get a call day of that there was no hygienist available.
Ok, it's now April. This can't keep happening, can it? I had an appt for a regular cleaning at 3 pm today. I've gotten two emails confirming and three texts confirming (yes, I responded that I would be there!). Just got a call at 2:00 saying they've been trying to reach me since Friday (that's BS since I have no missed calls and no voicemails from them - I already know their number since this happened to me so many times before) and that they have to reschedule me for Wednesday!! Never ever ever going back here. SO inconvenient and disrespectful of people's time. Most people work (like myself) and arrange time off to be at these appointments. I went on a Sunday which a lot dental offices are closed but Golden coast Dental was open.. I had pain so a tooth needed to be extracted ASAP.. I was in and out within 45 min .. .. Elizabeth and the doctor who performed the tooth extraction were very professional and friendly .. The front desk were awesome also .. I just found me and families new dentist from here and out .. Definitely recommend going to give this place a try ..

I had a 9:00 appointment for a cleaning and x-ray. The office staff were busy talking, the x-ray tech did not appear to know what she was doing. They pressured me into fillings that I don't think I needed (never needed one before and I go every 6 months). Two hours later and I'm still waiting for work to be done. I can't recommend this office for ANYONE. People who were waiting left due to the long wait.

Where are the Negative Stars? I have never experience so many cancellations with the Office calling me on the day of service to cancel. 2 times I traveled from out of state which was a major inconvenience. The office requested I purchase a plan that will discount my services. With the cancellations and no treatment, I asked for my money back. The office manager said she is sorry for the inconvenience and will credit my card. The ended up charging anyway and I had to physically go to the office and the manager said she agrees but the corporation doesnt want to and will fight for money. Stay away from this bad practice. As a local with generations of family and a local business owner bad news travels fast!!

"I recently had a dental procedure done at Gold Coast Dental, and unfortunately, my experience was not satisfactory. Despite speaking with the office manager about my concerns and being assured that the dentist would call me, I never received a follow-up call. Additionally, I experienced an infection in the areas where injections were administered, which I believe was overlooked. This lack of communication and oversight is concerning and has left me dissatisfied with the level of care provided."

Feb 26, 2024Previous reviewUpon calling I asked numerous questions since I was in severe pain. Unfortunately, they will schedule you for a first-time appointment. Upon my observation, if you are a member they will accommodate date your needs first. Which looks like every hour on the hour I was recognized. After one hour in the waiting room called back for x-rays. The next hour is waiting for the doctor to review the x-ray and prep. Three hours well I think we are going to just trim your teeth. As if I was going in for maintenance. Doc preps my mouth with two injections. The first injection was on the side of my mouth. He left came back and injected the upper too of my mouth with a needle. At 3:00 pm I sign the documentation for a root canal. At 3:30 dentist decided to only grind my teeth and pass on the root canal. I left the office with uncomfortable pain from the injection. I was so dumbfounded I checked out with the receptionist she was uncertain why I didn't get a root canal when the paperwork prep was signed off for a root canal.
I didn't want to write a review. However, I am more discomfort pain from making the appt. The office manager recommended antibiotics. I told her that's not the issue and finally went off. I am a nice person. However, the additional pain this office has caused has left me dumbfounded.****** membership only******* Today dentist didn't return my call. They are unable to acknowledge the pain they have caused me from the needle injection. I am a nice person and get along well with others. I spoke up about my rejection as a person since I wasn't being treated as a patient.
