Green Van Lines Moving Company - Dallas

Relocating from DFW to San Jose, CA; literally saw truck unloading at storage facility. Nearly committed to a different mover until I spoke to Pat C. Basically, decided on GVL because of Pat and amazing quote. I'd already boxed everything (thx U-Haul), except furniture. Team (Steve & crew is amazing) arrived within 2 hr time frame and they tirelessly worked to ensure all furniture was shrink-wrapped, with blankets and other materials for protection (+ new W/D). Using their storage until I can virtually find next home.

I've made 5 large interstate and intrastate moves with other national van lines. This is the very best from logistic and price point perspective. Will follow up once delivery is completed.

DO NOT TRUST THIS MOVING COMPANY! My things arrived with rat feces, urine, and some boxes were clearly chewed by rats. One box even had a dead roach in it (they told me that they kept my things in a warehouse). My tv arrived broken, they lost my bed frame and put in a ticket for it to be searched (I never heard back from them). I kept trying to call about my things but it was extremely difficult to get a hold of them. They inflate their reviews. Please take the time to look through all the "5 star" reviews that write nothing. Yes, prices are cheap. HOWEVER, they damage your things and deliver far beyond the expected delivery date. I took a chance cause of their cheap price. Biggest regret. I ended up spending more replacing the things they damaged.

Stay far away from them! I moved cross-country with them. They charge significantly more than they quote and stuff gets lost or gets damaged. Emails and phone calls go unanswered. This is as untrustworthy a business as I ever experienced!

We had Green VanLines move our companies shelving for our new store! Wow! The team was so professional, On time, courteous and most of all honest and fair.
We would recommend Green Van Lines for your next move. They also stored our shelves in their warehouse for 45 days while we waited on construction to finish. Unloaded - Loaded and delivered and did amazing

If you do not care about your stuff, expect them to deliver your stuff after the contracted date, give no compensation, and have a very very difficult time getting ahold of them (claims has yet to reach out to me about my missing tv, missing painting my mother painted before she passed, and my Trek bicycle, among a few other things that were missing) then this is the company for you! Owner told me they are being sued and only my expensive things are being held by the other company for the lawsuit. And they won't provide the subpoena for proof. Find someone else....any one else.

BEWARE!!! This company is a fraud. We had our items picked up from Fort Worth, Texas on September 29, 2023, and they were supposed to be delivered to us in Michigan on October 14th, 2023. This never happened. The company ignores communication and has refused to tell us when we will get our belongings. It has been over a month and we still have to sleep on a mattress on the floor and live out of suitcases because they haven't delivered our stuff as paid for, and promised. I received ONE call back, after dozens of messages, and it was October 17th and Beau Talley stated it would only be 5-7 more days until delivery. Well, that came and went, and we still have nothing. BEWARE!! Do NOT use this company. They have also had their BBB verification revoked due to poor business management.

(This experience is on management and the foreman of the move) Planning an intrastate move 2 months in advance as a repeat customer, there was great communication to pin down the move date and collect the credit card, then radio silence up to the day of the move. We did not know if the movers were showing up the next day although we were told when they called to collect the credit card that there would be communications confirming arrival times a few days before and the day before the move. The day of the move we were contacted by the driver while he was on the road driving the 4 hour drive from the city we were moving to advising he would be there at 12noon, weeks before we were told the movers would arrive between 8-10am. The next day on drop off day, there was a disagreement with when the payment was to be made for the move and the foreman quit, driving the truck off with our belongings and the $300.00 freight elevator fob that belongs to the building management that we were responsible for. The management is not reachable to discuss next steps for dropping off our belongings. 4 hours later, there is a new foreman and our belongings were unloaded in 3 hours with us assisting.

1. Lack of communication causing undue stress during a stressful life event.
2. A Foreman who does not handle face to face difficult interactions.
3. Disrespecting customer's time.
4. Overcharging the hours communicated when collecting payment on drop-off.
5. If you want your belongings, you have to pay what they're asking even if overcharged.
6. Treated as if we would not pay even though the credit card number was obtained prior to setting the move date.
7. There will be another move, just not with this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could give them 0 stars I would.

I was in a time crunch to move across state from Texas to New York and Green Van Lines was one of the first companies to get back to me with a quote and at a reasonable price.

The pickup from my apartment was fine but after that, everything went downhill.

I had to harass the dispatcher Diana nonstop to get any update on my shipment. My stuff sat in a warehouse for three weeks before getting shipped out, leaving my boyfriend and I sleeping on the floor of our new apartment waiting for our things to arrive.

On the day of our delivery in New York, the moving team showed up 4 hours later than expected. When they finally showed up, the head mover David was rude and immediately demanded payment even before they started unloading the van.

Save yourself the time, stress, and money and use a different company for your move.

Worked with green van lines for our cross country move from Texas to California. The crew showed up on time. They wrapped up the very single piece of furniture very securely. The crew was efficient, easy to work with, and very professional. Would absolutely hire again.

Andres and his crew were very nice, hard-working and professional! They did a great job of packing and loading in my items into the truck. And unloading the truck to deliver it at my new house was great also! Would recommend!
