Hadassah Kupfer, Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Kupfer is a great local audiologist. she evaluated my husband for tinnitus and performed full exam and testing on site.
Dr. Kupfer was there from start to finish. she provided follow up treatment as well as Ent referrals in the area.
Her follow up notes are more than thorough and follows up on emails promptly.
She was unhurried and answered our questions with care.
we are fortunate to have her office close by.

As a colleague of Dr Kupfer now working in Atlanta, and as publisher of The Hearing Blog (as of this writing, in DNS Hell) as well as creator & Admin of both the Reverse Slope Hearing Loss (RSHL) and Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder (ANSD Facebook groups over a decade ago, I often get requests for referrals from correspondents all over the world for hearing aids to fit RSHL; and I can tell you that I can count on the fingers of one hand the people here in America I trust to get it right on the first try, and to fly in from another city if need be.

Dr Hadassah Kupfer in Mill Basin, Brooklyn is one audiologist I trust; Dr Suzanne Yoder in Pittsburgh -- who herself is profoundly deaf with cochlear implants -- is another; and Ellen Nathan at The Hearing Station -- who herself has RSHL -- in Glendale, LA County is the other.

What's more, not only does Dr Kupfer stay open late until 7 pm Mon-Thu, she is also open on Sundays when there's less traffic on the Belt Parkway.

As a hearing aid engineer for 35+ years who both has and specializing in RSHL and ANSD, I can assure you Dr Kupfer is worth the trip for your hearing aid and audiology needs, even if you have to drive in from NJ, from Upstate New York, or from out on Long Island.

This review took me me almost 1 year to write this comment . This Dr deserves way more than five stars her mannerisms her compassion. Just a total overall she is the best . Almost 1 year ago I found this Dr for my father in-law and went to go see her. She was so patient with him she was happy to help . She offered so many options that would fit us as a family . A Few days later the Dr gifted us with the best gift she would ever know . His hearing aid came, that day was the best day to have full communication with him and feel like the conversation was actually being heard . This was best part to sit down and engage with him was a blessing . For him to hear I love you and good night and to have him reply back with the same loving words. Dr Kupfer you made this family happy and I so wanna say thank you . Sadly the next morning my father passed away in his sleep, though the 1 year anniversary is coming up and it's still difficult. I had to build the courage to give thanks when it's due . She gave us a gift that will forever live on. I reached out to her to let her know he passed she immediately remembered who we were and was completely sympathetic and should total empathy. I completely recommend her and I urge you to get the help anyone needs you don't know the importance of hearing and the gift it is to fully let your love one interact with you and allow them to feel complete again . Dr you are more than five stars I appreciate the time spent and your willingness. I am very happy that I have discovered Dr. Kupfer... she is extremely knowledgeable, empathic, professional, patient and thorough. And may I add that she is very relatable and has a delightful demeanor. She walked me through the process of getting hearing aides, while making sure to address my specific needs and lifestyle. I feel confident that she is guiding me through the process in a very caring and thoughtful manner.

After two subsequent follow up visits, my appreciation for Dr. Kupfer has greatly increased. She had devoted an inordinate amount of time and effort to ensure that I was completely satisfied and the devices were operating optimally for my needs and purposes. Dr. Kupfer has demonstrated that she is completely invested in providing the very best care for her patients. I am totally confident in her expertise and knowledge as an audiologist as well as her patience and compassion as an exceptional doctor.

My husband had an appointment with Dr. Kupfer last night. Dr. Kupfer was prompt. She took her time with the examination and answered all our questions. I highly recommend her to anyone that has difficulty hearing!
