Haweli

Food was served fast and hot and the servers were extremely friendly and accommodating. The server let us know it was opened in 2018 and the restaurant tasted authentic. The ambiance was set with many different Indian decorations and the lighting was dimly set. I enjoyed dinner with a girlfriend and would be happy to dine here again. Prices are a little on the pricy side but the taste made up for the cost.

I had lunch at the Haweli near South Common. The service and atmosphere were good. They have a wide selection of food items. In terms of specifics, their garlic naan, tandoori chicken, and goat curry stood out the most. I'd give them 7/10

I drive from Devon too south common on a day off I get the butter chicken rice naan samosa and the chick pea thing.

If I could give negative stars. We went for buffet dinner with a large group of 5 adults and 3 kids. What a horrible service and rude customer service from wait staff. I will never go back and please anyone else save your money and go somewhere like Asian Village for an amazing service and food. This restaurant will only give you one plate and ask you to reuse your plate if you want seconds. Food was mediocre and not fresh. Had to wait a long time for naans. Will never go back again.

I got to know about the Happy Hours at Haweli and price seems quite reasonable.
We have been there twice and both time my experience was not same.
First time, we went to grab some snacks during Happy Hours. We ordered Butter Chicken with Naan and Chicken Momos ( I am a big fan of momos). Food was served hot and fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every bite of my food. Service was good and the food was worth every penny.

Second time, I decided to bring my family here for Sunday brunch and this time Haweli disappointed us. First of all, They didn't have enough high chairs for kids. Secondly, Dishes written on Buffet place card were different and when you open Chafing dishes, it was something else inside. This time food was not great as it was previously. The only thing i liked from all of the dishes was Mango custard (It is a must try here at Haweli). I found buffet price on higher side and food was not worth it.
Apart from food and price, Haweli reflects a perfect touch of traditional and pub ambience.

I would definitely go there again for Happy Hours but, I didn't find their buffet worth.

Terrible service they took 30 minutes to serve food on a very slow day there was only 1 other customer including us. Didn't seat us or greet us when we came. Didn't even come to take our order or greet us after watching us sit down.

Haweli should not be slept on, this is place you go to when you absolutely cannot be let down by another mainstream food chain. The portions are massive, the flavours are just what you'd expect from a reputable Indian restaurant, the buffet prices are also super affordable. I'm not an Indian food expert by any means but it is my favourite food and I know Indian food should be spicy and flavourful. Haweli never disappoints; they can make your dish less or more spicy if you asked. There's nothing bad to say about this place. Try it out, and make it your new go-to! They deserve your business here. Trust the reviewers.

I was excited to see a location open up south. For years, I loved the downtown location.
I've been here twice now and can say everything is getting better. I can understand growing pains for any new business.
But can appreciate how quickly they've improved the food quality and service. The staff seem genuine in wanting to ensure you're having a good experience. The owner came by once to greet our table. I'll be a regular here.

Delicious! A few friends of mine reccomend this place after noticing the change in ownership (it used to be Hudson's) I love East Indian food but don't know a ton of dishes. That's why this place is so great! It's like east uniform meets Canadian pub. The menu is full of great choices- details included in what each dish is. The flavors are amazing and our server was so attentive and sweet. Prices were great and wings worked out to $4 a lb on Wednesday's! They also have great drink specials and so many options to try (new to the food or not.) we will definatly be back and I highly reccomend you check it out!
